Lila decides to go to the lake during the late night on an impulse to swim and clear her mind. At her favorite spot, she surprisingly meets Devin with a notebook and pen in his hand. She's automatically intrigued and can't help but to feel an intense pull towards the ominous guy before her eyes. Devin is at the lake to write and clear his mind. With his dreary past, his only want in life is to find peace and to be left alone, but, he can't help but to feel a soft tendering pull towards the animated girl before his eyes. Together, they create an adventure that's filled with laughs, tears, sex, drugs, and long drives.
