The first time she sees sin on legs, she's sitting at her window painting her finger nails. It's summertime, so the sun is out and shining beautifully -- she prefers to be indoors though. She watches the boy outside, watches the way his long legs stretch as he walks with the bulky boxes in his hands. And honestly, the way the breeze blew through his hair was a bit offensive.
Seems a lot like she has a new neighbor. The lot next door had been empty for a few years now, and she always wondered who would eventually come to occupy it. But never would she imagine it being some beautiful boy with pale skin and pink lips.
She watches intently, smudging her nails a bit trying to move the curtain out of her view, but the few seconds it took for him to be out of sight seemed like hours.
It's not even that she believes in love at first sight, but if people were truly as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside, he would be her first choice.
His existence was quite alluring, and she really had no reason to think this way, but she can physically feel the air become thick just knowing he is near by. Knowing he could see her one day and say hello. She's actually quite pleased, regardless of how badly she immediately wanted to know him personally. No one would complain about having someone extremely fit move in next door, right? Still, it's actually a bit irritating how much she genuinely wants to just go over with a pie and welcome them to the town--cliche as it is.
The one thing she isn't too fond of though, is now she has to dress herself up a bit just to check the mail. And it's not even to impress him. Okay maybe it's to impress him a little bit. Maybe play along as if she doesn't even notice him. Making her seem less creepy. He doesn't have to know that she doesn't always look great,right?
