after waiting through the whole night, aaron stepped out of his small home to the smell of morning air and water. he grabbed his sword he crafted the night before and pickaxe. he began walking towards the smell of the water. it wasn't long before he found a huge lake, with tons of cod and salmon. he was looking all around the lake, taking in the view and smell of sweet fresh water, when something caught his eye. a creature was moving in the distance. aaron squinted and still could not make out what it was.
always the investigative type, he had to know.
he began his swim across, nearly dying. the last thing he remembered was gasping for air and slowly falling asleep.
aaron awoke in the sand gasping for air. as hood eyes adjusted to the light, he saw a white figure, far bigger than him. "where- where am i ?" he asked, sitting up.
"you're on the other side of the lake." said what aaron would now see as a horse, using his front hoof to motion to the opposite side.
feeling the water drip into his eyes aaron attempted to stand up but failed. he fell back into the hot sand.
"woahhhh there buddy, you gotta be careful." said the horse. he put his right front hoof out to help aaron up. as aaron grabbed it, he felt a chill go through his body. his checks filled with blood and he turned a bright pink color.
he stood up finally seeing the full figure that was helping him. his jaw dropped. he had never seen a more beautiful creature in his life. "what is your name?" he asked, trying not to sound too eager.
"montoli." the horse answered.
aaron stood speechless. there was nothing like this in his world. "would u like me to help you back to your home?" montoli offered. "y-yes" aaron answered. aaron mounted montoli and let him walk the way home.
