It was could to see her again, even though he didn't want to admit it. He just wanted to look at her. A couple of seconds passed. He should say something now, he thought. He cleared his throat and said,

"About time, Ms. Gomez. This is how you treat guests?" he said.

He could see her fuming. Good, that's how you make me feel Gomez, he thought. She looked at Omar beside me and smiled formally. He gave her a returning smile but said no more.

Can walked with them, his bodyguard now blocking the crowd to make way for him. Omar followed, with his luggage. This was his last trip with Can. He would soon have to find a new manager but he doubted anyone could replace Omar. Can looked at the man accompanying Selena. They were hurriedly speaking something that Can couldn't hear.

Selena unlocked her car, a matte black Range Rover. Can quickly opened the passenger side door of Selena's car. This would be fun he thought. His bodyguard Pete and Randall followed him in Selena's car.

"Isn't Omar coming?" asked Selena.
"He will be going to the hotel and check in my luggage." said Can, not looking at her and checking his reflection in the rear view mirror, fixing his hair.
Selena rolled her eyes and started the car.
"I saw that." said Can, still fixing his hair.

In the back seat, Randall and Pete sat quietly, noting the exchange between the two, confused.

Selena drove to her office with her head boiling in anger. She couldn't believe she was once attracted to this jerk. First he made them stop at a grocery store go buy strawberries and then after perusing the store for half an hour with an entourage of four people just for some strawberries, he decided he didn't like any and then they left the store empty handed. Mr. Sutherland kept calling Selena asking her where they were as the meeting with Can was scheduled for 1:00pm and it was already quarter to twelve.

It would have been enough time to reach office if grocery store was their only stop. But apparently Can had to see the Statue of Liberty within hours of landing in New York and if we had made it to the Statue of Liberty then why not go to the Times Square as well?

Finally they reached the Decathlon's office at 1:17pm. Mr. Sutherland greeted them though you could see he was annoyed. He was one for punctuality.
Selena was relieved that her work was done and she was ready to escape Can already. So she left them talking and went to her office, throwing her bag on the chair and relaxing. Randall came in laughing but changed his expression as soon as he saw Selena's glare.

Randall looked at Selena with a comically sad face, trying to cheer her up. "All celebrities are like that Selena, don't take it personally. So what if he made a chauffeur out of you?" he said.

"Do you want to stay late at work today?" asked Selena with a murderous glare.

"Fine, fine. Don't get your knickers in a bunch lady. Want to go out for lunch today? Treat's on me?" Selena's mood lightened instantly. Food did that to her usually.
