She didn't know she could survive the pain she was feeling as of that moment. At that exact time she was heart broken and confused. All she wanted to do was cry, scream, throw things or even break them but mostly she hoped the earth could open up and swallow her whole. She thought if only that happened maybe she wouldn't have to feel so empty and hurt on the inside....

It had taken all the strength that she could manage to master to take the first step then the next and the next until she found herself out of the house. She walked alone in the dark until she was a few meters from the campus gates when she met with his best friend Michael. He tried talking to her but she was lost in her own pain to even concentrate on what he was saying. When he went to hold her hand he felt she was hiding something under the sleeve of her jumper. He didn't let her go and asked her to tell him what he was carrying.

She was carrying a knife and she didn't even have the intentions of using it but at that time she felt dangerous his having the knife in her possession. She had given him all her heart and soul and he had just reaped the heart out and shredded it into pieces. She felt like her world had come to an end.

She needed to be far away from the person responsible for the rage and anger running through her veins and just having his best friend stop her from walking away wasn't helping her current situation.

When she saw him approach her she was seeing the betrayal wash across her face all over again and it hurt more every single time.
