+Virgil's POV+
During lunch, I keep catching Romans eyes on my hands, but I try not to let him see that I know what he's doing. You can't let anyone see them or let them come over! My 'ex' (he still thinks that we're together), James screams.
"Are you okay, Virgil?" Patton says, with concern in his voice, "You just started shaking and muttering something about... Well no-one heard what you said but we could see you lips moving." Oh no. They have already seen one of my panic attack, 4 hours into the day!
"Um.. yeah I'm... okay I just... it's um nothing, really!" I shake my head. I don't think they bought it.
"Okay then," Roman says skeptically. I don't really blame him, I would be sceptical if he said what I said. "Well then we need to go back to the house."
"You... all live together?" I ask.
"Yes, is that a problem?" Logan says defensively
"No, it's just... I've never lived with friends before, I've always lived with my ab-" I cut short. THEY CANT KNOW! My mind screams in a weirdly loud voice, then I realise it's James
"Your what, exactly?" Romans says, obviously wanting the tea.
"NOTHING!" I say, clearly too loud. "I mean- nothing!" I repeat in a quieter and squeaky voice. I duck my head quickly, to show that the conversation is over.
~ At Virgil's house~
"There you are!" Coos a male voice, muffled by walls and my hood. I'm whimper. "SHUT UP I CAN HEAR YOU FROM IN HERE!" He bellows. Creak!! Oh no. Stomp stomp stomp stomp!! I whimper even more now. "I SAID SHUT UP!"He says from the end of the corridor. I clamp my mouth shut to keep from sobbing. Creak STOMP STOMP creak! I see a shadow over me. I look up slowly. I made him mad. Well, that's never done me any good! Crack! That's one knuckle cracked. Crack! I know what's coming. Crack! I inhale. Crack! I exhale. Ding!! Goes the doorbell. "Get that will you, then I hope we're never interrupted like that AGAIN!" I draw in a sharp breath and hold it while I open the door.
"Hi, Virgil!"
