It feels like deja vu.
Here we are again, looking up at the sky full of stars. The moon shining brighter than ever as I comfortably lay on you abdomen.
"Nari, I was thinking. What if the accident didn't happen? Meari would be two years old by next week. Our life would've been so perfect if none of it happened. It was almost perfect."
Hearing your voice shake sparks a cold sensation in my heart. I hate seeing you blame yourself over something no one had a control of.
"Taeil..."
"I'm sorry I didn't wake up sooner, you had to grieve on your own."
At this point, you were already shedding tears. Your breath hitched as soon as you finished talking. And I could feel you tense up as I'm so close to you. I took you in my arms and let you release tears from your eyes. I have no idea remembering everything would hurt this much.
