Chapter 13

I woke up ready for the day. A brand new start. We had found a new place to call home for now. I just keep thinking about the vision. He said he's coming and I can't wait. Im scared right now. What if Alpha Dominic finds me and kills me then I'll never get to be happy and safe with my mate. I hope he doesn't find me before my mate comes I know he can protect me.

"Lex you ready to go?"

"Yes coming Mandi!" I shout as i slip my necklace over my head.

Its been a month here and the girls and I have been working together at a popular store. I have begun to feel more relaxed for once.

"Octavia are you ready for lunch?" Asia asked standing next to Mandi.

"Yeah Skylar let me grab my purse."

We left on our lunch but came back to eat. We sit in the car talking about our old lives and how we could go back and change it. Wishing none of this ever happened. As we head back inside my stomach starts turning and I quickly grab it.

"You ok Octavia?" Rachael asks.

"Something don't feel right." I shook my head. "Maybe something I ate."

"Its ok works half way over do you think you can make it?"

"Yes probably."

As work continued my stomach pains would come and go. I looked at the clock only 2 hours left. I couldn't wait to get home and lay down. All of a sudden I heard tires screeching outside. I got nervous then shook my head. Probably some stupid jerk trying to hurry up and get here. I look down and get back to my work.

"Lexi!" Someone shouted.

"Yeah?!" I responded as I looked up not thinking.

I look up to see Theo and Charlie slowly walking up from my right. I quickly ran around the counter about to turn the corner towards the south exit..

"Darling!"

I instantly froze in fear. I look up towards the south exit to see David and Mario walking my way. S***! I say in my head. I slowly turn around to see Dominic's dark blank eyes right on me as he walked up between Theo and Charlie. I quickly look past Charlie and see the fire exit. If only I could..

"Don't even think about it!" Dominic growled.

He slowly approached me as if an animal teasing his pray. I slowly backed up until my back was against the wall.

"Now!" He shouted. I looked over to see Asia's mom. She started moving her hands and speaking in a foreign language. My body started to feel funny. I shook my head trying to get rid of it somehow. Suddenly Dominic grabbed my throat lifting me off the floor.

"Please," I cried.

"Bring them over!" He shouted. I opened my eyes which were met with his. They looked so mesmerising. I was stuck with my sight on him. My body felt more relaxed. All of a sudden I felt my arms gently pulled back. Then I felt a burning sensation on my wrist pulling me from his eyes. I go to look back but then all of a sudden something metal slips over my head. I start fighting as I feel the coldness go over my mouth and nose as the metal enclosed around my head. Then I heard a click. I tried shaking my head but it wasn't coming off. Then I realised it. I was trapped. Shackled behind my back with a personal caged mask around my face.

"Let me go!" I growled.

Dominic grabbed my arm tightly and started pulling. "Getting brave are we? I'll help you fix that once we get back."

"Get this thing off me!" I shouted swinging my head around.

"No can do princess. Wouldn't want you trying to bite anyone and get you're pretty little face hurt," He said holding on to the back of my neck. He quickly grabbed my arm and turned me towards the exit. I looked around for Asia and Mandi to see that had been grabbed by some of Dominic's men.

"Let them go!"

I turned around again noticing there were at least 50 of his men round leaving everyone trapped.

"We had a deal." Asia's mother spoke.

Dominic turned to her. "I never break deals." He nodded towards his men. They quickly released Asia. "Take your spawn and leave!" I tried to struggle. " Grab the women and kill the rest." Dominic coldly told his men.

I tried to jump away from him."No leave them alone!" His grip was too tight as I struggled more. I stomped on his foot and get let go. I ran towards Mandi only to be grabbed by Charlie and Theo.

"Bring her!" Dominic shouted as he headed towards the exit.

As they carried me by my arms towards the exit i started thrusting around. Their grips tightened.

"You know darling since you're not his mate we'll get to play with you too.  You remember when you fought us? Don't make it worse on yourself." Charlie harshly whispered in my ear. Fear overcame me and I stopped and let them take me. "Good girl." Was Charlies response.

Tears slowly started leaking from my eyes as we headed towards the SUVs. Im trapped once again. He's not coming. He can't protect me.
