~Epilogue~
"Why is everyone getting happy endings?! Like I want a happy ending too!"
"Oh hush, you're dating someone AND you even got a cat now. Damn do I wish I was around that sassy little cat."
"She takes the sassiness from me darling. But back to what I was saying, you got a happy ending, Oliver got a happy ending, Tzuyu got a happy ending-actually how is Tzuyu? It's been a while since I've last talked to her."
"I think she's doing well. She called me last night actually to see if she could host a party at the restaurant so she could bring together important people in the fashion industry so they could all talk. I told her we'll have to see the date she's talking about is open. Most likely is though."
"So how's the view?"
"Huh?"
"With those painting you got over there from the restaurants, how's the view? I heard you got a new one."
I laughed as I started to play with my necklace. "Looking at it right now actually....Man, I miss you Ling. I miss being your neighbor."
"Girl I miss it too. I can't bother you as randomly anymore. We don't have our weekly card nights or have as many dinner and tea talks...I really miss those."
"But hey! You got a new friend-"
"I hate her."
"....O-oh ok...that was strong.." I chuckled. "Sorry to hear that for the 30th time."
"But at least I still got Oliver and Tzuyu above me, they're nice company when they come around."
"Well that's one positive thing!"
"Ah...look at the time...I better be heading out soon. I need to cut this conversation short, sorry Y/n."
"It's no problem." I smiled. "Just be safe."
"Oh yeah, and you need to INVITE ME to you house again. It's been ages and I swear, that house is too beautiful. Good job Y/n!"
"Yes yes...I'll invite you next time so you don't knock on my door, and almost knock over Jimin while strutting in saying 'Bitch Seulgi and I got booze waiting for you at her house, let's go! I don't give a flying fuck if you had plans, these are the plans'."
"Hehe, yeah I did do that...But it was a good entrance."
"Hell yeah it was. Ok, I'll let you go now."
"Ok, bye byeeeeee"
"Bye byeeeeee!" I hung up the phone and sighed, still playing with my necklace.
I missed my old apartment next to Ling. It's been 3 years since I moved into this house. Amazing...3 years since I've moved, 4 years I've been dating Jimin...2 months engaged...I walked up to the second floor and into a special room I always kept lock. I took out my key and opened up the door.
Inside were my paintings I had made, my workshop to paint. I always kept them in here, ever since I moved. Some were old, from my apartment, and some were only a week old.
I smiled at them, looking and studying each one of them as I played with my necklace. Ever since I got my necklace from Jimin, I've almost never taken it off. Then I heard the front door open and slam shut.
"Y/n?" I heard Jimin yell. "You feel like going out to that food truck? The one we used to go to after visiting the museum?"
I chuckled at how exhausted he sounded. I closed the door behind me and walked down to where his face had a smile on it once I fully came down. He approached me with his new navy blue hair and gave me a big bear hug in which I responded with my own hug for him.
"Tiring day dealing with idiots on the phone?" I joked.
"Annoying idiots...even worse than normal idiots..." He sighed. "You left the radio on."
"Again? Really?" I listen carefully to my surroundings and he was right, the radio was still on, playing a sweet song I hadn't heard in a long time.
"I don't want to set the world on fire~" it sung softly from a distance.
I looked up at Jimin with a smile, my hands finding its way to wrap around his neck while his found its way to my waist. Without a second thought, we started dancing to the song, thinking of that night long ago. Our first date. The first of many to come.
I laid my head down on his shoulder the same way I did those years ago. I could see the couple in front of me. The one that whispered that they loved each other.
We danced the song away before we whispered to each other "I love you".
I linked my arms with him and looked up. "Ready to go?"
"Ready as I'll ever be."
We walked out of the house but once we hit the sidewalk I looked back at the house. I laughed to myself.
"What's so funny?" Jimin asked me.
"I don't know..A stupid thought."
"What was this stupid thought?"
"What if we met because of a stupid bet? Like you had a bet with someone that you like I don't know... would need to kiss me or something...Hehe that's a pretty funny thought."
Jimin laughed uncomfortably. I looked at him confused and suspicious. "I swear, did you start flirting with me because of a bet?" I said sternly as he looked away. "Oh god...that really was the reason wasn't it..."
He laughed, throwing his arm over my shoulder pulling me forward so we could walk. Jimin just smiled at me.
"I'll tell you the whole story kitten."
