Chapter Two- 'You Cant Hide From Me'

"Introduce yourself to the class please" the teacher told Lexis and he nodded smiling and turned to the class.

"Um... I'm Lexis and I'll be joining you guys for the rest of senior year. I hope we get along" he said staring directly at Mia causing her to stare at him confused.

"What about your last name?" A brunette girl asked "none of your business " Lexis replied with a smirk.

The girl blushed and sat down causing Mia to roll her eyes at the girls clear stupidity.

"Okay Lexis you may take your seat" the teacher said and he nodded and searched the classroom looking for chair to occupy. He saw different girls waving him over to join them.

But his attention wasn't on them. It was on a certain black haired girl that failed to acknowledge his presence.

She felt someone plop on the seat next to her and she mentally groaned. She didn't need to turn to know who it was, judging from the tingles she felt she knew it was the green-eyed demon that had just walked into the class.

She tried her best to ignore him but the stupid human won't take a hint. "What?" She turned to him after much poking.

"Hey" he said and she stared at him like he had just lost a head. "Is that all you want to say" she said and he nodded innocently.

She groaned inwardly, shaking her head at him she got back to doing the classwork given to them.

*poke* poke*poke* she growled in anger snapping her pencil into half. Some people turned to stare at her.

"Stare on, you'll find the freaking answer to your problems on my face" she said and they got back to what they were doing.

"Urgh!!" She said ruffling her hair to the side "feisty" Lexis said and there was nothing more she felt at that moment but to punch him to mars if they would accept him.

If not to hell then, it'll be perfect for him. "You done?" He smirked with an eyebrow raised.

"Nope...." she started making him smirk even more "I'm still looking for the perfect place to punch you to" she said and that wiped the smirk off his face.

The bell rang interrupting Lexis from whatever comeback he wanted to say . Mia got up immediately and left going straight to her locker to retrieve her bag"

She went straight to the school's clinic where she saw Katherine. Katherine apart from Ray was the only other person she had let come close to her. Katherine was the schools nurse and also a fox demon.

"Heyyy what brings you here Ki.... I mean Mia" Katherine said correcting herself from saying her real name.

"I need a slip" Mia replied dropping her bag and laying on one of the sick beds.

"Skipping school again huh??" Katherine said with a smirk Mia gave her no response. Katherine sighed "You know I promised Ray I won't be your accomplice whenever you...." Katherine was saying.

"It happened" Mia whispered softly "try to skip cla..... wait what???" Katherine asked.

Mia sighed "wait but how?? Like how is that even possible. Today isn't your birthday if I can remember correctly . Except I developed an amnesia" Katherine said.

"You're right. Today isn't my birthday. Why it happened, I have no idea." Mia said closing her eyes. Katherine sighed feeling sorry for her friend, although she hadn't experienced it or seen it happen but she could tell it wasn't a pretty sight.

Katherine scribbled a note for her and handed it over to her "go have a good rest" Katherine said.

Mia got up from the bed and collected the slip from her. "Thanks Kat." Mia said with a smile and picked up her bag. "Be safe" Katherine replied back with a smile waving at her.
