Sana's POV
The last thing I expected when I followed Tzuyu here was to feel insecurities which I smugly believed in the past that I have such thing in me. But seeing her ex-love and ex-fiancé forced me to reevaluate myself.
Now hours later after the most awkward lunch I ever experienced in my life, I walked in the silent hallways of the Myoui manor. Tzuyu was so busy with her work carefully building again their family business and since we haven't yet resolved our issue I don't want to spend time with her.
I looked around to my surrounding. This place didn't look so welcoming with its baroque architecture this place doesn't give you the aura of home but more of a museum sort. Everything about this place speaks coldness. I wonder what kind of upbringing the Myoui sisters have.
I saw a door half-opened curious to what's inside that room. I slowly peeked from the door and saw the subject of my jealously sitting on the settee reading a book. She must sense that someone was looking at her when she looked at the door and smile.
"Sorry to disturb you from your reading." I said with a slightly forced smile.
"You are not disturbing me." She replied with that genuine smile still fixed in her beautiful face. "Actually, I want some company since everyone is so busy right now."
I was about to decline her offer and stay away from her as much as possible but I felt a little guilty that I was avoiding her like plague when she never did anything wrong to me. I took a deep breath and decided to join her.
Her light green-eyes lit delightfully, once I sat on the sofa across to her. "Sorry if you need to suffer from my company for awhile. I am really bored as of this moment. No one wants the company of an overly pregnant like me."
I smiled smile slightly in her direction. "I hope you don't mind me in asking but where's is your wife?"
"Tea?" She asked conversationally, but before I could refuse she's already pouring the cup. "Chaeyoung went to Seoul just after lunch. She's avoiding my father's company religiously. She will be back tonight, I guess. She rather spend her afternoon with her best friends than suffer from dad's scrutiny."
"Are you okay with that?" I asked her nonchalantly. I couldn't help but to take a sip from the tea she offered the aroma coming from the cup was hard to resist. "I mean, is it okay with you for her to spend her afternoon with her friends than with you?"
"Of course," She answered brightly, rubbing her swollen belly. "If I have my way I want to come with her and chat with her friends wives the whole afternoon but there are so many restrictions for a pregnant woman."
"You must be very close with the wives of her friends." I commented, sipping my tea.
Tzuyu's ex-love's face filled with happiness. "Yes, they are delightful women. I will introduce you to them tomorrow night at otōsan's birthday party they are coming with their wives."
I don't think I want to get acquainted with them. I mean, they already have this strong bond with them. I think I would be only be labeled as an outcast with their clique.
"Enough of that topic," She said determinedly. "I want to know more about you. Tzuyu is so secretive lately. I will not lie to you. When you walk in the dinner room during our lunch we were totally shock about your announcement."
I couldn't help but to feel my cheeks burn with embarrassment. I knew the way I announced my presence was so outlandishly compared to their formal manner. "Sorry, about that." I muttered under my breath.
She laughed in her sweet-melodic voice. "You don't need to apologize to that. Though, I need to be honest with you I am really stunned to know that Tzuyu is now married to you. Please don't take it the wrong way. I mean, I know Tzuyu since our childhood days..."
