When Aliyah started 8th grade, she wanted to make sure this was the best year ever since it was her last year in middle school. Aliyah is about 14 years old, she comes from a strict but loving family, she's an introvert, and only hangs out with the 6-7 friends she has. This will be important.
Aliyah was lucky to be in the same classes as her best friend, Jade. After there first classes they have to go to a certain class unless you took band or choir. Aliyah and Jade would go to band during this time, since both girls played flute for the school band. Aliyah's kindergarten friend, Tim, was also in band, playing saxophone. Her friend was charming to her. Last year, Aliyah and Tim has reconnected after years of them having no classes together.
Aliyah tried as hard as she could to get the best grades possible. However, there was something horrible coming her way that would effect her more than anything. There will be ups and downs, trauma and love, hurt and healing.
There's so much in life that can hurt a person, but that person has to learn there are many ways to heal and choose a different path they think that have to choose.
