The Sector Seven Slums had a soft glow in the fading twilight of the day. The shops and shanty houses lighting up gold with the town's people flicking on their lights for the evening. The loud chatter of the day had died down to a whisper in the night, people mumbling to one another, stressing of tomorrow's worries, preaching of today's wins. The small lights on the suspending plate above looked like tiny stars shining in the darkness. An alien night sky, as the 'stars' did not twinkle in the night, instead of a constant hum. Sector Seven was relaxed and cool in the evening like this, and a good breeze was brushing throughout the town, bringing people to sit out in front of their steel topped homes, crouched on the ground, or leaned up against the walls. Off in the distance, just between where the rubble of sector six and sector seven had a small park, was a young woman sprawled out on the ground.

Your body felt cold as if it had been lying on the ground in this stiff position for a period of time. Before you even cracked your eyes open, you could feel your head pounding with the pulse of your heart. Feeling disoriented, you slit your (e/c) eyes open, gasping at the sight of the hazy green sky above you. You bolt upwards into a sitting position, your breath hitching and panic overcoming you. Mild pain strained through your muscles at your sudden movement, and you feel slightly dizzy with how quickly you've sat up. his was not your room, you rapidly realized, not your house, not your home.

Your eyes whir left--there is a small broken down alley, with sparks showering down through its the entrance. Nothing but darkness deep within. It was just past where there were tires sunk into the ground. Your eyes whirred right--a large rock climbing playground equipment shaped in some sort of cat head. A park? You blink, looking down at yourself, taking notice that you're no longer wearing the matching night set you distinctively remembered putting on the night before. Instead, you were wearing a thin mesh clear jacket, the chest a sheer white, the arms completely clear showing off your (SK/C) underneath. Under that jacket was a short black skirt, and up to your knees was black thigh socks. Your shoes were simple grey and black futuristic looking shoes of a brand you couldn't recognize. "What the heck?" Your voice escapes frantically, examining your hands, fingerless black gloves protecting them. "What...Am...I...Wearing..?" Your voice sounds shaky and small in this decently sized park.

That's when you notice it. Something from deep down in your gut, pawing at you, pulling at you, enticing you to look upwards. Bringing your hands to your chest, you stretch your head back to look up at the sky.

Your (e/c) eyes grow wide with the lights above reflecting in them, tears brimming up to your lids.

This sky above you was a sky so unrecognizable, alien, and frightening.

Cloud ambled into Seventh Heaven after his temporary teammates. Marlene, he'd learned to be Barret's daughter, was hiked up on her daddy's arm, beaming at him about how she had been spending the day helping Tifa and all they had done. Cloud was irked with how today had played out with the reactor, having Barret bark orders constantly and groan on about the noble act of saving their planet. Cloud simmered quietly, keeping his delicate features completely blank in front of his long-haired childhood friend. The last thing he wanted was for her to berate him about how things went. I just want to get my money, he turned his blonde head to look out the narrow window of Seventh Heaven, at the dark scenery outside. For some reason, he had a lingering feeling that he was forgetting something, or there was something he was supposed to be taking care of. And find a place to stay for the night. He shook his head, purposefully keeping himself stood up, crossing his arms. For one, he didn't want to sit down near where Barret was sat with his daughter, and two he had only one thing he wanted before he could get lost for the night.
