Maria POV :
As me and max are walking home I couldn't get Xavier out of my head I mean he was very handsome and when he touched I felt tingly everywhere but most in my womanhood. Max barks and it brings me out of thought to see we are home and me and max rush in side to cook dinner as I'm cooking and man comes from up stairs I think his Ava's new boyfriend he looks at me and licks his lips looking me up and down and starts walking closer to i look at him confused and say " Hello are you Ava's boyfriend" he looks at me and laughs " no hotness I didn't even know her name so I'm free if you want to fuck" he says coming closer and gropes my butt I step back and say " I'm good " he rolls his eyes and says " whatever you are ugly and fat anyways" but he still doesn't leave " I'm sorry are you waiting for someone" he looks at me and says " I'm going to fuck you even if you do want to" and walks close and I yell " MAX" he stops " who the fuck is max " and just then max comes around the corner growling and the man jumps behind me and screams " eat her not me " and max barks loud and scary and he jumps and starts crying because he's so scared i almost laughed a little I look at him " I think you should go" and just like that's he's gone I go to max and kiss him.
Right when I'm done with dinner papa walks in looking tired with a big bruise on his face I gasp and go to him and " papa what happened" and just looks at me and frowns " nothing is dinner ready we have to talk as a family" I nod and yell to Ava she comes down and looks at me in discuste and walks to the table I just put the plate on the table and start eating right when I'm done papa starts talking " there's a ball tomorrow and we are all going" then Ava " me and you papa" he shakes his head " all three of use" Ava and me both look at him with wide eyes mine happy and hers angry " why is she going she's a freak and you want to show her to the world" Ava yells I'm use to the insults but papa stands up and says " starting after this ball Maria is allowed to leave the house when every she wants and don't but a brat about it Ava and shut up" she shuts up and he calms down and says " people will come tomorrow to help pick dresses now both of I'm going to bed you should do the same" he got up and left and Ava looks at me and slaps me across the face and says " At this ball don't be a slut for once and talk to all guy" and with that she gets up and leaves I just get up and clean up the kitchen and dining room and then say goodnight to the guards and head upstairs when I get to my room I strip and head to the shower and cry this is the only place I cry because I don't like it when people see me cry after like 30mins I'm done and I put on underwear and a big t-shirt that's the only thing I can sleep in as I lay there max comes in and lays his head on my chest and I pet him and start to fall asleep with Xavier in my mind.

As I wake up I see it's 1 o'clock so I move max and feed him and then I get up and take shower and brush my teeth when I look in the mirror there's a small bruise on my cheek where Ava hit me. I then head down stairs to eat when I get there the living room is full of dress and Ava is there trying them on and I just decide to wait till Ava done and the ball starts at 7 so I have time. I have to get max ready anyway and yes max comes with me everywhere I go.
It's now 5 and Ava just picked her dress it's short and red and shows a lot of cleavage but it looks cute on her.

All the dress were short and I had long legs so it wouldn't cover my butt there there was only one long one it's a silk spaghetti strapped dress with two slits on both sides it more revealing then I hoped for but it will do I thought to myself.

I matched it with some clear heals and just let my hair go wavy and I put on mascara and lip gloss I hate makeup and I also don't know how to do it. I looked a myself and shrugged. I looked good I guess and then heard dad yell my name and I got max and started walking down the stairs and saw Ava with tons of makeup on and her hair was big and she was like 5 inches tall because of her heal when I got down there they both looked at me with wide eyes " what happened " I asked dad said " your grown" and Ava said " you look like a slut" and turn and walked to the car and I saw the bottom of her butt I just smiled down at max and started walking to the car. The car ride was like 30mins and I asked papa " what exactly is this ball" he looked at me and said
" Mafia's all over the world will be here its the old kings birthday " I just nod and stare out the window and Ava was on her phone texting. After some time we get there and no one was outside " are we early" I look at papa " no we are actually 3 minutes late it just no one can know about this but the mafia" I nod and Ava says " we wouldn't have been late if you would have gotten ready faster" max growls and she and papa start walking. I get down and look at max and say "you have to be good" and the smile and tell him his a good boy. Then catch up with papa and Ava they walk in and I'm right behind them with max who is attached to my leg. Ava and papa stop right before the door and I finally make it to them and just look down and smile. As the doors open it's two guards and they look at us or more me and then more a Side after papa talk to them. When we walked in it was Beautiful and I was looking around thats when I looked forward I saw that everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at us I blushed but didn't look down I was looking around and I saw Alex with his boyfriend and smiled and then I say Xavier staring at me I stared to and then someone cleared there throat and I looked up to see papa glare at me I put my head down and they start walking and I follow and no one saw Max because he was behind me but as we started to walk people saw him and gasped he is a pretty big dog I just shrugged and we walked to the end and everyone is back to what they were doing and we now stood in front of a couple they looks as old a papa. Papa looks at them and says " happy birthday Lorenzo" Lorenzo nodded and Ava started flirting with him as she said happy birthday and they both looked at her in discussed and then it was my turn and I walked to them and said " happy birthday" with a smile and they both smiled and the women said " whom may you be love" I just smile and said " I'm Maria Johnson ma'am" and she looked at papa weird and so did the man and then they say " why haven't we met before" I just look at papa thinking his going to answer but he doesn't do I do " papa kept me hidden so I did online school and never really went outside" they looked at me shocked " how old are you hun" I smile " I'm 23 ma'am" she just smile and the couple glared a papa and the I said " if you don't mind me asking what are your names" and they look at me even more shocked like I should know who they are and the women says " I'm Greta king and this is Lorenzo king  my husband" I just say thank you and just as we were about to walk away a little boy comes up to Ava and she rolls her eyes and tells the boy to get lost. I could see the boy getting sad so I said something " hey you wanna pet the doggie" and the boy nods he's head and smiles and I wave my hand for him to come over he does and I look at max and say in a cold voice so he knows I'm not playing " Max Down" and he does it straight away I look at the boy and grab his hand and pull him to max and when he gets there he smile widens and he puts both hands on max and then I pick him up and put him on Max's back he didn't way much so max wouldn't get hurt. A throat was cleared I look up to see my father glare at me and I nod and look down and look at the little boy and say " okay buddy I'm sorry but max is gonna have to get up" he frowns a little and puts out grabbing hands I pick him up and tell max to get up he does and I was about to put him down but then he said " no I wanna stay with you " I smile and say " buddy you got go back to your mommy or daddy" he frowns and I say " who's your parent" and he points to Greta and Lorenzo says " that's grandma and grandpa" and I say oh and smile at them and they look at me with wide eyes " how'd you do that" I look confused at him and say " do what" I'm super confused the get up and then they look at the boy and say " he doesn't talk " I look at them even more confused and then another throat cleared I look bad to see Xavier and he says the unexpected " what are you doing with my son"
