Chapter One - LIFE IS GOOD
Why do female scientists in movies always have to be hot? Like don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that gorgeous people can't be smart, but I would pay good money to see a big budget movie about monsters or space were the hero doesn't look like a bikini model. It's my pet peeve number 23. Pet peeve number 2 is stepping on water while wearing socks. Number 3 is having artificial lights indoors when there is sun coming through the windows. Number one is really bad but thankfully only experienced it once.
So it came as bit of a surprise that I was enjoying our date night rental so much. Kristin Steward is a fine lady. Her short bleached hair and polished facial features totally work wether you are straight or not, and I guess that filmmakers need bankable sex appeal and a household name as a return of investment. KStew walking around in her underwear 70% of the movie must have been in her contract, much like Matthew McConaughey in every one of his pre-McConaissance roles.
The film went on, with plenty of explosions and time-is-running-out scenes, more bare midriffs and dark humor. I almost cried during the big showdown at the end. Proper sad emotional tears, not from laughter. The Steward can ACT. What a great ending. I truly don't care that it took parts from every sci-fi movie ever made, 99.9% it being ALIEN. Cause ALIEN is fire and I don't give a fuck if it's 40+ years old. Ellen Ripley is the OG of badass action chicks (sorry Sarah Connor) and Kristin Steward did a damn good job channeling Sigourney Weaver's big dick energy. Five gold stars.
Would you discard French fries just cause you have had them 100 times before? No hon. And pass the ketchup and a pickle on the side.
And I specially enjoyed the fact that my husband and I finally clicked with a date-night movie. I'm into horror and strong acting. My husband is more into action and and lots of yelling. This film had both, so it was no surprise that our simultaneous enjoyment of such vomit inducing kill scenes and tasteful balance between the raunch and the tears laid the perfect background for some well deserved sex. With our busy schedules it had been a long time and we were more than ready.
By the time the credits rolled, we got right into it without hesitation. I had fondled him plenty during the movie, just over his clothes cause we both actually wanted to finish watching our rental, but I still wanted to make sure we were on the same page.
My hands started unbuttoning his shorts. My hair was a mess but I didn't care. I knew I looked hot. My legs were freshly tanned and long. His hair was soft and thick, falling playfully over his eager brown eyes. As I took off his underwear, my husband's alabaster tattooed arms reached for my breasts. It wasn't too long after I had tasted him over and over again that his grunts became more distinct, his gaze slightly watery. His excitement awoke my own. The power of giving J so much pleasure made my mouth thirst for his tongue. Without noticing, we switched positions effortlessly, and he was now on top of me kissing me hard and just a bit sloppy. But I liked it. I was already wet and wanting to taste wet all over.
