No More Running

Alexys was sitting in her little makeshift office and was reading a book. Though, it was in Japanese so she didn't really understand fit so she was just staring at the letters, acting like she was reading intently. After a while, she got bored and threw it aside. She got up and walked out, only to come face to face with Jean.

"Alexys. I'm going to kill you." He said, she slowly looked up to see bruises littering his body, her eyes widen before she instantly took off down the hall. She dodged scouts left and right like a pro as she heard heavy footsteps behind her. "GET BACK!" She shouted as Jean over her shoulder as she grabbed a nearby broom and threw it in his general direction.

She turned ahead only to run into someone, she looked up to see piercing grey eyes staring down at her blankly.

"Oi. Why are you running in the halls, brat?" He grumbled lowly as he shoved her off of him.

She stumbled back and glared. She was about to open her mouth to say something when she heard Jeans voice grow louder as he got closer. "Sorry, gotta go!" She shouted as she took off running, shoving him aside.

"OI! Get back here!"

She heard his voice echo as he composed himself, only to get shoved aside again by Jean who was right behind Alexys now.

She made a sharp turn and saw Eren, Armin and Mikasa. She bolted towards Eren and jumped on his back. "Help! Jean won't leave me alone! He's trying to kill me!" She wailed as Eren turned around to see Jean running at them. Alexys right es her grip and rested her chin on his shoulder, still on his back.

"Alexys. Come here." Jean snapped as he reached for her, only to get his hand slapped away by Eren almost immediately. Alexys took this opportunity to jump off his back and take off down the hall. She could hear the pair arguing in the background as she ran into the the library and climbed on top of the shelf, hiding within the darkness.

So now this has turned into a game of hide and seek. How fun.

It has been. Two. Whole. Hours. She was still in her spot, now fast asleep and snoring quietly. She heard the library doors open and soft, almost silent footsteps advance towards her.

"Oi..."

There was no response.

"Oi." It was slightly louder this time, and she was poked with the end of a broom stick.

There was still no response.

"OI GET YOUR STUPID ASS UP BRAT!"

He walked her with the broom making her jump up, slip off the bookshelf and land on top of him.

There was a thud as Levi shoved her off and stood up. "You have cleaning duty as well as that other brat that was playing chase with you in the halls." He informed with a sharp glare.

Alexys was still half asleep, rubbing her eyes as she stared at him blankly. "Huh?" She asked dumbly.

Levi narrowed his eyes. "Tch."

"No more running in the halls Brat. Now get to work."

Alexys was now sweeping the floors during dinner time. She had no idea what task Jean was given but she was thankful that he wasn't anywhere near her at the moment. She wasn't scared of him, just avoiding him for a little bit till he cooled off. He still deserved it though.

I'm sure she would be great friends with him if she got to know him, yeah....no.

She huffed and sat down, in the middle of the hall. "Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy..." she sang flatly as she glanced out a nearby window. "Damn. I'm hungry. All the running made me burn off like all my calories. I hate running."

"I'm never running again. Like, ever."
