molly laid on jack's chest in the dark. his arms were wrapped around her, holding her tightly. she never wanted him to let go, but she knew he had to. her flight back home was only hours away, and she never wanted to leave him.

the clock on the wall read 3:16am, meaning that she would have to leave for the airport in about five hours. she was going to be with jack for approximately five more hours, and that's it.

her cheeks were tear stained, and the more she thought about leaving jack, the more tears escaped her eyes. she couldn't sleep, and she didn't want to either. she didn't want to waste a single moment with him.

her chest heaved up and down with quiet, tiny sobs. jack had fallen asleep moments earlier, and she tried not to wake him. she was moving too much, and a bit louder sob left her lips, causing jack to stir a bit.

"molly?"

"yeah?" she replied, making sure that her voice convinced him enough that she wasn't crying. he wasn't fooled by her, and turned on the lamp. molly's red cheeks and puffy eyes were now exposed to him.

"oh, molly." he pulled her closer to his chest, and she began to let her emotions out on his hoodie. she wrapped her arms around him tightly, not wanting to let go.

"i don't wanna leave you." molly hiccuped.

"i don't want to either. i wanna be with you all the time."

"i'm gonna miss you."

"i'm gonna miss you even more."

"i know." she lightly giggled through her sobs, making jack chuckle a bit.

"good."

"i still don't wanna leave you. it's too much and-"

"it'll be okay, molly. i promise you. distance sucks, but we'll make it work. we'll facetime, and we'll be able to see each other again in person soon, okay?" he stroked his girlfriend's hair, trying to calm her down.

"okay, you promise?"

"i promise."

before she knew it, those five more hours with jack quickly passed. molly found herself in one of jack's hoodies, which was engulfed in his scent, along with sweatpants. the two were in the lobby, waiting for lindsay and the rest of the cast.

jack squeezed her hand for reassurance, his eyes a bit glossy. he didn't want her to leave him at all. she was his everything by now, and he didn't want to let her go.

the two were met with the rest of their friends, and everyone said their goodbyes to the girls. sophia held onto molly tightly just like she did when the two met for the first time.

"i'm gonna miss you so much." sophia whispered, her eyes filled with tears.

"we'll see each other soon, soph." molly sniffed, and pulled away from the hug. 

finn tagged along with the two couples, who were not at all prepared for this day. lindsay sniffled onto wyatt's shoulder, a few tears running down her cheeks during the ride to the airport.
