Finn's pov)
I grabbed Jack's hand before he could walk away and i pulled him next to me.
"Jack.."
"No. it's fine. you don't want to be a relationship."
"I didn't say that."
"so you do wanna be in a relationship?"
"Jack.."
"I don't understand you."
"I just.."
"it's fine. we can talk about it later."
"But-."
"No. It's okay, let's talk about the party."
"party?"
"yeah..Sophia's birthday party on Friday."
"right.."

(time skip to the party)
"hey Finn." She sighed, clearly drunk out of her mind.
"Soph, are you okay?"
"Pfffttt. Yeah. i'm facking god."
"Yeah..okay."
I pushed past her and walked to the kitchen.
Jaeden and Wyatt were having a heated make out session. I didn't want to interrupt so i grabbed a drink and walked out. I decided to go outside on the patio. It was cold outside, but not too cold. I sat down on a rocking chair.
"Finn!" Sophia screamed.
"What?"
"i think i'm drunk."
"mhm. i see that."
"finn?"
"sup"
"i have to tell you something."
"sure."
"I love you."
I paused. "I'm gonna go find Jack." I got up and walked past her.
I don't know, maybe it was a dick move. but i'm not gonna lie to her..even if she does end up forgetting it in the morning.
"Finn?"
"hey." i sighed as i sat down next to jack.
(it's 2:35am and i have to wake up at 8am tmr. oh well. worth it)
"i'm sorry about yes-."
"it's okay. don't worry about it.."
"are you sure?"
"look, jack, the only reason i don't want to date you is because i'm moving. and soon."
"oh." he frowned.
"but, i plan to spend every second with you. and i'm gonna facetime you everyday. and we can text 24:7."
"promise?"
"i promise."
"i love you."
"i love you too."

"Finn?"
"yes?"
"you look cute."
"thanks. i was trying to impress you." i giggled.
"well, sir," he smiled. "consider me impressed." he got up and grabbed my arm.
"what?"
"come with me."
"fine."
i got up and jack dragged me to the complete other side of the house.
"here."
"the dance floor?"
"please!!"he begged. he even did the puppy eyes and the pouty face.
"okay, okay. fine."
"yay!" he got a huge smile and his eyes got bright.
fucking perfect. he's fucking perfect.

after dancing for like 2 hours, they put on a slow song.
jack got closer to me and he put his arms around my neck. i put my hands on his waist, he put his head on my chest and smiled.
a few minutes into the song, i felt jack get closer to me. i felt his body press against mine, but not in a sexual way. it was more of a.. 'hey i wanna cuddle' instead of a 'hey i wanna fuck'. jack means the world to me, i just have no idea if he knows that.  it's kind of scary, but he means everything to me. i would do anything for this boy. he is the love of my life.

Okay, i get its a slow song, but Finn is frighteningly quiet.
"are you okay?"
"yes. i'm fine." he looks down at me and he kisses my forehead. "you mean a lot to me."
"you mean a lot to me too."
