*Alexis's POV*

"Lexie! Are you ready?! Hurry we're going to miss the flight!" I heard Caleb call from the kitchen, probably stuffing his face with the last bits of food in the pantry. It is about a 7 hour flight with only 1 stop...so I don't really blame him.

I grab my carry-on bag, my one other suitcase and then I head towards the kitchen. "You almost ready?" I ask. "Yeah. I've been ready! Let's go, I want to leave for good!" *HONK HONK*

"What was that..." Caleb looks at me as if he already knows the answer and is ready to kick me straight in the face. I knew he'd be mad, but I have no car and I'm not walking 75 miles to the airport. "It's the taxi." I say very quietly but loud enough for him to hear me. "What the hell Alexis?! Why the hell would you get a god damn taxi?!" He's yelling and he's never yelled at me except once, and I deserved it that day.."The airport is 75 miles away Caleb! I'm not walking or riding a bike over there! Plus we both have 2 cases so walking isn't the best option!" "So you got a freaking taxi?! A taxi? Seriously? You're so dumb! Why woul-" I cut him off "Shut up Caleb! Just shut up! I know you hate taxis and that's my fault but it's just this one time.....you can't avoid taxis forever! Just get in the damn thing!" I emphasize my words and push him out the door and lock it forever. No one can buy it, everything is shut off and it will be the house that just sits there like weeds in a uncared for garden.

We put our cases in the trunk and got in. "I'm super pissed at you, just saying" Caleb said angrily giving a dirty look. I shrugged my shoulders, knowing he'll get over it but I apologize anyways because I know why he hates taxis and I know it's my fault yet I still chose to get one.

Knowing the drive is about an hour long I plug my headphones in and put the music on high volume and close my eyes. I know Caleb will stay awake because he's scared, he'll stay awake and watch the cab driver very closely and he'll think mean things about me, and he'll wonder....he'll wonder why I didn't push mom or dad out and instead I pushed him out, he doesn't know that I only did that because they made me and I can almost hear them screaming as the cab drove straight into their death "Look after Caleb! Look after Caleb! Look after Caleb" Those three words repeating in my head over and over again.
