*beep beep beep beep*
I heard my alarm clock go off, so I got up to do all the chores. I got dressed in my normal getup. Button down shirt, skinny blue jeans, cowboy boots, and my good ole cowboy hat. My grandaddy gave it to me when I was just a lil' 'ole girl. I was about 6 when he went to a better place.
*Flashback*
"Grandaddy, Merry Christmas Eve!" I yelled as I ran down the stairs.
"Oh look, isn't it my little precious princess Addi!" He bent down on one knee to hug me.
"Hey isn't it your birthday little one?" He asked me.
"Yea grandaddy, I'm this old!" I said as I tried to hold up 6 fingers with my tiny little hands.
"Well I got a present for you." He said as he handed my a box with a bow on it. I ripped it open and pulled out the hat. I put it on and it was too big, but I knew I would grow into it. Later on that night after my grandaddy and grand-mommy left, I had gotten the gut wrenching news. My grandaddy had a heart attack while he was driving home from our house. He had run into a gas pump and it blew up the car.
*flashback end*
I cried for weeks on end. As I went outside I shook the thought from my head and began to do my chores. Once I was finished I went in to the house and made breakfast. I ate as quickly as I could and then went to go get Lucy-Lou my mocha chocolate horse. As I was riding her on the field, I heard a plane go above us and to Kansas City Airport, which was about an hour from here.
"Ashlinn Dawn Dani Iggny! Come here please!" My momma yelled from across the farm. Our farm was about 600,000,000 acres. We basically owned our own city. My grandaddy left all his inherited money to me. It is a lot. About 234,567,764,773,999.00. He had worked since he was 10, so it kinda added up.
As I walked towards my momma, my brothers Josh, Anthony, Joey, Ryland, Riker, Alejandro, Justin, and lil' 'ole Christopher, ran past me having their daily workout. What I find funny, is that all of them are an exact year apart.
Josh-15
Anthony-14
Joey-13
Ryland-12
Riker-11
Alejandro-10
Justin-9,
but Christopher is only 4.
They were all born on October 16, at 6:00 in the afternoon.
After I found out what my momma wanted I raced with the boys. I'm 21, almost 22, but haven't left home, because momma needed help. Single mother of 9 including me.
(A/N: chapter two accomplished.) 😋😋
