Angela was that lonely and depressed girl who puts on a mask around her friends and family. She shared either too much or too little of herself or just lied in general to seem happier if she is feeling or looking sad, she went everywhere not making eye contact with people she knew or didn't know. That is until Eric came into her life, she was being loud in class and acted as if she didn't care and as he turned around he caught her eye.
As Eric an Angela grew closer, Eric changed. He was hanging out with other people more, and generally didn't talk to Angela and all Angela did was try and get him to talk to her or get his attention.
Then she realized she liked Eric, at first she thought it was some silly crush and pushed her feelings aside because she isn't the type to fall in love or be with someone, let alone trust them. Well... that's what she told others and herself,
As months went by she started to notice how her feelings were growing and how at the start of the school day she was always looking for him and always wanted to be around him and find ways to talk to him. She dismissed her feelings again not wanting the one thought she hated to be true.
She finally told him I love you and he thought she meant as friends so she went along with it not wanting to worsen there already deteriorating friendship. So she stopped telling him if she wasn't okay, she closed off her feelings for him and cried and cried and distracted herself to keep from thinking of him. Yet, she always found herself texting him a hi and him not responding...
"I love you okay?! I have for awhile, I've wanted to tell you but I just couldn't, I didn't want to ruin our friendship, you're my everything"
Well that's at least what she tells herself, keeping the feelings hidden from everyone telling them it was just a prolonged crush and it was going away eventually.
She's the girl in love with someone who doesn't love her and that's her story, or at least some of it.
