I never thought the most painful experiences in my life would even come close to what I suffered on that day. It was unbearable, the torture I went through in those moments when my life's normal routine was disrupted by something so normal.

It all started when I just got home from school. I had a snack then dashed towards the study, where my PC awaited. I was so excited to see everyone who had wished me a happy birthday. I turned on my computer with delight, a sweet scent in the air. The computer greeted me with the usual tone.

I opened up internet explorer. Just kidding, who uses internet explorer anymore? I clicked on the rainbow whirl of colours known as Google Chrome. I smashed in the keys F A C E B O O K into the search bar and waited for the normal results. Thats when my luck changed. My face turned pale as marble. 'Ok, emergency services are ready. Please we will release them once you give us more details on the issue you are having trouble with,'
'My modem has been taken from it's original location,' I whisper to her.
'And so what is the issue that needs resolving?' Oh my god did she really just say that?
'I- I just t- told you the issue,'
'The modem has been stolen?'
'Yes, it has,'
'Sir, this line is for serious issues, please call this num-' I'd already slammed the phone down before she could finish. What did she mean this wasn't a serious issue! This was a disaster worse then death. Death. I then had the sudden realisation of what I had to do. I walked up the stairs and walked onto the balcony. And I...
Haven't thought oh an ending to this story yet! If you'd like to help me finish this story please suggest what an ending could be, that doesn't end with him jumping off the balcony. After all this is a comedic story!
