chapter 9

Marchall's pov-

I walk out the door and into the living room with Cat. She was playing her usual game.

"Hey Cat can I play with you?" I asked. "Ya anytime." She answered.

I sat down and grabbed a controller. We played for ten or so minutes.

She paused the game and turned concern in her eyes she said "What's wrong with you, you seem sad and heart broken?" She spoke.

"She doesn't remember me Cat." I responded.

"She will don't worry, speaking of doesn't remember I found something in Marce's old room." She said.

She ran to kitchen and grabbed a envelope with a red wax seal. The one Marceline used to seal letters.

I looked at the envelope in shock and curiosity. She handed it to me gently and said,"open it."

My hands shaking as I touched the cold red wax. My finger under the fold were the envelope opened. I took in a deep breath and yanked it open.

My heart pounding out of my chest.

I grabbed the paper inside the envelope and saw attached to the paper was a picture of me and my Marceline. I smiled turning my attention to the letter itself.

"Dear Marchall,

I just want you to know that I love you and always will. My memory may have faded but before it does I want you to know who did this to me.

I couldn't believe it myself when they tricked me but I guess people can change.

My father is the one who has taken my memory of you away. He plans to bond me with a vampire of his choice instead of my true love.

Don't let him win fight for me. We may live in darkness but right know our strongest weapon is love.

I have seen the future your power is great and amazing now fight my father for my love.
