Chapter 2: Fighting Alongside Purple Heart

Y/N and Purple Heart charge at the dragon with their blades ready to strike. Y/N lands the first hit as his katana hits the dragon's head, but the dragon was unfazed by the attack.

Y/N (interested): You're tougher than I thought. This will be fun.

The dragon roars in annoyance as it swings its head, knocking Y/N's katana out of his hand as the blade is sent flying several meters away from him and lands with its blade implanted in the ground.

Y/N (nervously chuckles): Hehe. Uh, at least you don't have a scratch.

The dragon roars in anger as it charges at Y/N, but before the dragon could reach Y/N, it's slashed in the side of its rib cage by Purple Heart's sword, as she strikes the dragon so it couldn't attack Y/N. The force and pain from the slash makes the dragon cry out in pain as it falls on its side.
Y/N looks up to Purple Heart with a smile.

Y/N:Thanks for the save Purple Heart.

Purple Heart: It's no problem, but next time be more careful.

Y/N nods as he looks to the dragon and sees it starting to recover. Y/N looks serious as he thinks of a plan to take down the dragon. After a few seconds, Y/N thinks of a plan as he looks at Purple Heart.

Y/N: Hey Purple Heart. I have a plan to take out the dragon, but I need you to distract it for a couple minutes as I get ready.

Purple Heart: Ok, but what's your plan?

Y/N (smirks): You'll see.

Y/N then runs off to his katana as Purple Heart is confused on what Y/N is going to do, but does what Y/N told her to do.

Purple Heart (thoughts): I wonder what he's going to do.

The dragon roars as it has recovered from the attack, though there is a cut on the dragon's side that's oozing blood from where the slash hit, but the dragon ignores it as it roars and looks at Purple Heart. Purple Heart sees this and gets in a fighting stance will holding her sword.

(With Y/N)

Y/N makes it to his katana. Y/N grabs his katana and puts it away.

Y/N: Now I can use my favorite sword.

Y/N pulls out Lostvayne as it automatically gives him a speed boost. Y/N smirks as he then turns around and sees Purple Heart fighting the dragon.

(With Purple Heart)

Purple Heart flies around the at super speeds while slashing different parts of the dragon with her sword, with each slash leaving a cut that's oozing blood. The dragon roars in annoyance as it swings its wings, tail, and arms all over the place to hopefully land a hit on Purple Heart, but the purple goddess is moving to fast and is to agile for the dragon, as she dodges the dragon's tail, wings, and arms while still slashing the dragon. The dragon is covered in bloody cuts as it roars in anger. Purple Heart stops her attacks as she flies above the dragon.

Purple Heart: It's time I take this seriously.

Purple Heart then raises her sword above her head. As she does this the sword's blade begins to glow a bright purple color.

Purple Heart: Cross Combination!

Purple Heart swings down her glowing sword and starts swinging it at the dragon. This causes a barrage of purple energy slashes to be shot from the sword's blade and towards the dragon. The dragon looks up and sees the energy slashes heading towards it. The dragon is now prepared though, as it shoots a large sphere made of blue flames out of its mouth and towards the energy slashes. Both attacks collide which causes a harmless explosion in mid air. The dragon spreads open its wings and starts to flap them as it starts to fly off the ground and towards the smoke. Purple Heart floats in the air as she waits for the dragon to make another attack. She is a little surprised, however, when she sees the dragon fly through the smoke and at high speeds towards her. Once the dragon reaches Purple Heart, it swings its head forward at Purple Heart to head-butt her, but Purple Heart manages to counter the attack by using her sword as a shield. The dragon head-butts Purple Heart's sword, which causes Purple Heart to be pushed back by the force. The dragon keeps on pushing forward while Purple Heart is trying to push it backwards. This causes a struggle between the two. The dragon tries to break the struggle by pushing more force into its head to push Purple Heart even further back. Purple Heart though is still able to keep up the struggle, but her sword starts to crack a little because of the force from the struggling. Purple Heart is surprised by this, since nothing has been able to crack her sword before.
