Ender and Nala walked down a dirt path leading to a small military town. they were still about a day away Ender saw movement in the trees and drew her sword, three goblins jumped out and attacked, them Ender cut down the first one in two swings and the second one in three and Nala smashed the third one with her mace. Ender put her sword back in its sheath and they moved on
By the time they reached the town, it was nearing sunset and there were guards at the gate when they came up to them they asked "are you a trader?'' Ender replied "no we are just looking for some work in this town" the guard looked the two Dragonborn up and down before yelling up to someone in a tower "open the gate!" it slowly lowered to reveal the town there was a small hotel and a tavern on one side of the street and houses on the other and its front was a large house made of fine wood and marble.
They got some rooms in the hotel and went to the manor house the guard reluctantly let them in and they met with the Captain. Ender asked "what jobs do you have available?" "well only one at the moment" he replies "an oric village has been giving us problems I would like you to destroy it if you need help go to the tavern"ender nods excepting the mission "now go I have work to do." he says as he ushers them out of his office and they head to the tavern
