(Chapter 6) Blood-Stained Reunion

Author's Note : Hey guys some of you have been requesting for me to update my story and I've finally thought about and decided why not. I'm only doing a one more chapter special and also I've gotten a bit bored during lockdown ;)

I rose from my bed and looked to the side of me. Yuki was sound asleep, she looked so peaceful. I slowly pressed my fingers against her cheek. She was warm. I pulled back my hair and sighed. Today was Yuki's birthday and i had everything set up. She was turning 21 in human years. There was a knock on the door. "Come in", i exclaimed. A young maid walked in, "good morning sir". She drew the long curtains, a bright light blinded me. I squinted, the light filled the whole room. I lifted the duvet and pulled my dressing gown off the peg it was holding onto. "Sir, when would you like me to wake up Lady Yuki?", the maid asked. "Don't worry i will wake her up", I smiled. Everything was to be absolutely perfect, the decoration, the cake, the food and most importantly, the present. The present i had given her was on the dining room table. I lifted it up, and opened the box, the jewel sparkled with beauty just like Yuki. It was a diamond ring, I was planning to propose to her. We'd been living together just as lovers for many years and i was ready to make a change. I closed the small box, wrapped it up and placed it on the mantle piece with her birthday card. It was time to wake her up from her slumber. I walked into the bedroom, she was still fast asleep. I slowly crawled onto the bed and kissed her on the cheek. "Wake up my love", i placed my hand into her hair and gently combed through it. It was soft and it smelt of lavender. Her eyes were slowly starting to open. She placed her hand under my shirt. "Stay with me for a bit", Yuki murmured. "Of course, darling", I held her tightly. 

Couple hours later

Yuki jumped out of bed, "i've completely forgotten, it's my birthday Kaname". I smiled and laughed, "well at least I haven't forgotten, let's go to the dining room". I held her hand whilst we walked into the dining room, all of the maids were there to greet us and say happy birthday to Yuki. There was a knock at the from door, the maid pushed the door open. "Well happy birthday Yuki", Haruka peeped from the door. "Father!", Yuki ran up to him giving a warm hug. "Why didn't you tell us that you were coming, Haruka", I said. "Why do you always call me Haruka, I'm your father and you will always be my dear son, Kaname", His hand touched my face. "Yuki i got you a present", Haruka pulled out a bag and gave it to Yuki. She lifted the box out of the bag and started to unwrap it. Her eyes were met with a lovely silky light pink dress. It was beautiful. "It's gorgeous, thank you so much father", Yuki hugged Haruka tightly. "You should definitely wear it this evening", I said. "Are you staying with us tonight, and leaving in the morning?" I asked. "Yes i want to spend the whole day with my precious daughter", He laughed. "Okay i will ask a maid to show you to your room and it's getting dark so we will prepare the dining table", I said. The maids started swiftly setting up the table. The maid walked Haruka to his room and me and Yuki were left together. "Don't you want to get changed into your lovely new dress, Yuki?" I said. "Do you want me to dress you", I mumbled. "..Yes", she held my hand and led me to our room. I started unbuttoning her top and pulled it off her body. He skin was so pale and smooth to the touch. It was irresistible. "K-Kaname, your hands are cold" She shivered. "I'm sorry", I stroked her neck with my lips. "Can i?", i could see her veins in her neck. "Y-yes", she whispered. My fangs bit her neck deeply, i could taste her emotions, they were flowing in my body. The taste of fear and love were overwhelming. Blood was running down her neck. I licked it carefully, not missing a drop. I could see the fear in her eyes, it made my body shake. I lifted my fangs from her neck and stroked her face. "I'm sorry, i went too far", I pulled myself away from her. "No-no it's okay", Her hair hid the view of her eyes. I continued to take her clothes off, I unzipped her skirt and placed it on the bed. Yuki got into her dress and i zipped the back up. I placed the veil neatly in her hair. She looked so beautiful and cute like a model. No, better than any model. I wrapped the bow around her waist and placed white high heels on her feet. The dress flowed along the floor, the sequins glimmered in the moonlight. "Yuki, i have something to ask you", I placed one knee on the ground and looked up at her. "W-What is it Kaname", she stuttered. "Will you marry me and be with me forever, Yuki", I held out the ring. She looked shocked. She fell to the floor and looked at me. "Kaname, of course I love you so much", tears started to build in her eyes. I hugged her tightly. Now we could be with each other together, i would protect her no matter what.
