Jasmine watches as Sirius, her only family member left, fall towards the veil of death. It was as if time had slowed down and all she could think of was that she didn't want to stay here without Sirius. He was the only one who loved her unconditionally. Even though she has Ron and Hermione, she's already felt that their friendship is already fading and pulling in different directions.
With these thoughts running through her head it wasn't hard to make her next decision. With a burst of speed Jasmine quickly ran towards Sirius, completely missing Remus who tried to grab her. She may not know what's on the other side of the veil but wherever it leads Jasmine was determined to not be separated from him, even if it would only lead to her death at least she would be with her family.
The others in the chamber could only watch in shock as their hero ran head first into the veil of death. The death eaters watched excitedly thinking they had won while the members of the order could only watch in anguish as their last hope disappeared.
Unexpectedly however was that when Lord Voldemort arrived into room the veil of death was suddenly filled with a black mist. An ominous air begins to fill the room as long ghostly arms start emerging from the mist reaching out. At their sudden appearance the onlookers could only watch as the arms suddenly grabbed Voldemort and quickly dragged him into the mist where he would never be seen again.
Jasmine was in a place that she couldn't describe or comprehend. She was still holding on to Sirius and she knew that they weren't alone; there were Others. However, it was as if she incapable of comprehending where they were. It was strange.
She knew in the back of her head that they had been floating around in this strange place for a while now but it was as if they were in a place where time has no meaning because it also felt that no time had passed.
She remembered in the beginning that someone had started screaming for some reason; not her or Sirius but someone else. The Others had stopped them not long after they had started. That should of scared her but for some reason she just felt glad in a detached sort of way.
Jasmine was still holding onto Sirius but he was different now. She was different now. Instead of feeling skin she was holding fur and he felt like he was better now, healthier. She also felt better now, her magic felt better too. It felt happier now, more complete. When she compares how it feels now to before it almost feels like her magic was burdened by something that wasn't there anymore.
She's starting to feel sleepy now. Maybe she has finally reached the end of her journey. It was peaceful.
