I sat with my colleagues in our office. We were sitting on the floor with our hands held together. I could hear the steps of 15 outside. We were praying she wouldn't come in,who knew what she would do.
I could see her shadow through the curtains. I looked at her,she was just standing there. None of us moved a muscle as she continued to walk,past the door and away down the hall.
I got up and sat down at my computer. I quickly started it and checked the cameras in Zero's room.
He was two years old,but looked like a stud. I feared 15 would come for him,since he is the only male of their kind.
We all sat in the office,the doctors began to calm down a little. Then we heard the foot steps again,more this time. I could still see Zero on my computer screen so I knew it wasn't him,but it was someone,or something.
I saw the shade of 15 as she walked past our windows again,then I saw a another,with under jaw being almost a foot below the upper. "Oh on,that's 17!" I heard one of the doctors whispered.
Which she shouldn't have,I saw 15 turn towards us,she pointed her long bony finger at the office,and 17 rammed the wall,running straight through. "Run!" I heard the same doctor yell. I didn't hesitate before running out of the room. As I ran I heard the sound of cracking bones behind me,and a blood chilling laugh. It sounded like a mix of crow and whale,yet very terrifying. I knew the doors to the facility would be locked and there were no windows to jump out from. It was at times like that I hated to be underground. But it also meant that the subjects couldn't get out,because having them on the streets would cause much more devastation than they do in here.
I ran to the security guard's room and banged on the door,but no one opened. I pressed the handle and the door opened. I hesitantly walked inside and saw the two guards,laying scattered across the room. I threw up the little dinner I had eaten and closed the door. I sat in the chair in front of the computer. I saw the guards had been monitoring the entire building,yet they didn't know she was coming. Strange.
