"Hales, I got to stop by this cafe, be back real quick" Justin said for the second time.

"But Justin, You stopped before" I objected.

"Be right back". And he was gone.

It was downright annoying that he remembered all his purchasing endeavors, while we were getting late for college.

I waited in the car, using my cellphone to pass time.

"What's taking him so long?" I wondered.

"Hey I'm back" He had brought two cups of coffee.

"Aww, you brought coffee" I mentioned the obvious.

"You're welcome" He flashed his pretty smile.

Reaching college was a huge relief. I'd to race to my class as I'd gotten late, thanks to Justin.

Rushing in the classroom, I had my fingers crossed that the teacher hadn't arrived yet, and thank goodness he wasn't there yet. I also found a seat vacant. Sigh of relief.

As I approached the chair, I saw a guy, his grey eyes staring at me coldly , having an unfathomable expression. It felt unsettling.

He was dressed in a black t-shirt, his Dark Brown tresses a bit messy .

For a second I thought, maybe the reason he's looking so upset is because he's kept this seat for someone else.

"Is this seat taken?" I did the mistake of asking.

"Can't you see for yourself?" he replied nonchalantly, his voice deep and husky.

That startled me. No guy has ever talked this rudely with me whatsoever. And what's his reason for being rude? We didn't even know each other.

"Haley, come over here" Neil said out loud. He was poking Max to get up.

No way was I going to let this guy have satisfaction of shooing me away.

"It's okay, I'll just sit here" I told Neil. And sat there.

I was quite happy to have disrupted Mr. Rude's aims. And then I heard his chuckle. So irritating.

The class was boring, it wasn't one of my favorite subjects. I don't know how many times I kept looking at the clock, waiting for time to pass by.

And then I felt him whisper ."Hey, here's a free proposal, Apply less perfume from now, because it's really suffocating"

"Maybe you should just stop hovering " I replied sourly. And then he didn't bother me during the remaining lecture.

To top This annoying feeling off, I was so curious about Ash's early morning disclosing of the fact she'd some information.

Hmm, important info. As if she was about to tell me some sort of nuclear codes.

As soon as the class was over, Neil approached me.

"Hales, I'm really sorry about what happened yesterday" He apologized, His brown eyes depicted sincerity.

"Don't Fuss over her" I heard The rude guy mutter, and he was gone.

Ignoring him, I just told Neil.

"All's forgiven". I smiled to assure him.

After all it wasn't the first time I had received appreciation from a guy, and then have others getting jealous. Dealt with enough of this drama in high school. Sometimes I felt as if I were a prize, something to be won in eyes of these boys, rather than a living, breathing human being with feelings.
