Third Person's POV
---
"Should I walk you back to your villa?" Krit said as he closed the door behind him.
The sun has set, and the two young boys have gone back to Krit's villa after spoiling themselves with good food from a local barbecue stall. It was their first visit to a fish market in the island, and though the ambiance wasn't exactly as fancy as they were used to, seeing the island in its authenticity gave rise to an unusually serene feeling within them.
The silence he received made Krit shift his attention from setting his slipper aside to observing the other who was fiddling with the handles of his travel bag. It didn't occur to him earlier, but the bag Jack was carrying seemed to be stuffed. Though, he thought it was because he had just come back from the mainland. Edging closer, he noticed the set of clothes folded neatly inside, as well as the redness on Jack's face.
"Were you planning on sleeping here?"
Jack's tiny jump made his face break into an amused smile. He placed his forehead on the other's shoulder, pressing his body against the other's back. A few moments passed before Jack found his voice again.
"You were alone here last night, right?"
Krit's heart sank at the apparent sadness in Jack's tone. Being an only child made him accustomed to being on his own. Watching movies alone inside his villa on a faraway island wasn't the worst possible nightmare for him. When he saw Jack standing outside his door this afternoon, he had a hunch about why Jack decided to cut his stay with his family short and come back to the island. After reading the poem Jack meticulously wrote last night, his guess became a realization. Jack really went back to the island early because he was worried about Krit overthinking and dreading over matters they have no control over.
"I'm sorry for worrying you."
Jack finally let go of his bag and faced Krit, brushing away the locks of hair covering his view.
"Stop pouting or I'll kiss you."
He felt relieved when he heard Jack giggle at his attempt to pucker his lips even more. It was obvious that Jack wanted to tease him, because he turned away the moment their lips almost touched. Krit saw the other trying to suppress his laughter, so he decided to let go and walk away, flopping himself on the bed with his face down. He has always been calm and collected around other people, but Jack just has this magical ability to bring out his childish side.
He felt Jack climb onto the bed and lay down next to him, his arms throwing themselves around his waist. He remained stubborn though, which only entertained Jack.
"Krit~"
Jack called his name in the most mellow tone, his fingers crawling through Krit's abdomen as if they were riding on piano keys. It sounded so adorable that he wanted to turn around and squeeze the life out of his lover, but he chose not to budge. He found himself being pulled closer, the other burying his face on his nape. Jack didn't move for a while, which made Krit wonder if the other had fallen asleep.
