"Clink, clink, clink" Steve was familiar with the sounds of the mine and was never surprised when he was abruptly woken up early in the morning by these sounds. The sound reminding him of another day of harsh work. The mine was cold and he never kept anyone around even though it was advised to. Creeper attacks were common, but Steve was tough and knew he fight off any coward mob that resorted to exploding.
As Steve walked into the mine smelling of coal and sleep deprivation, people starred at him knowing that he shouldn't be there. "Steve! Hey!" A young girl's voice called out, it was Alex. "Are you alright? I don't think you should be here." It seemed like a hurricane of words flowed out of her tiny mouth giving Steve a headache. "I-I'm fine." Steve replied groggily, he could barely mutter.
Alex was one of those young girls with too much energy and annoying people like Steve. He knew she meant well, but Steve just couldn't stand her.
