— Chase —

I got tired of phasing back and forth, the whole park looks the same to me. I could've went on and walked out, but an angry Harry is on the way to see me. I should just wait here.

I stood right in the middle of the park, where the fountain was situated. It was clearly old, yet they don't see the need for renovation. Better yet, replace it with a new one. Just right outside the park, you could see the residential buildings, and the court right in the middle of the complex building. They park their cars on the streets, huh?

After a few more minutes of being lost in thought, someone touched me by the shoulders. Me, being vigilant in a place I had no idea about, was aiming to hit my elbow in someone else's face.

"It's Harry, Young Master." A cold soothing voice.

"Harry, what took you so long? I almost hit you in the face." I answered nonchalantly with a hint of relief.

He looked at me with stern eyes, it's as if he was trying to figure out why I was out of Golden Heights.

"I visited Roman's restaurant, what do you want from me?"

"Chase, you're out here in the dark. You called for me, your so called butler is drunk AND missing. I'm here to help my Young Master."

For some reason, when Harry calls me by name I relive in the times where he used to live with us in the manor. I'd know all about his work and Kylie as well. It took some time before he surrendered and called me Chase instead of Young Master when it's just the two of us. After that is a ton of fun memories we made without the provision of my parents. They would never approve of it.

"Okay, lets go Harry." I motioned for him to start walking.

"Oh, Young Masters walk in front of butlers. You forgot?" He responded teasingly.

"Harry, for the love of God. Let's just find Lennox, okay? He has thick blonde hair up to his ears and green—"

"I know what that guy looks like, i've seen him around the manor before I left. It just never occurred to me as to why he was always with the head of relations. It was late when I realized that he was there to replace me."

"Harry..."

I could feel the remorse in his voice. We still changed letters and I'd occasionally ask him how he is. He got married to Kylie, who now works in another restaurant in the city. He never mentioned what he worked for, but to be safe i'll just wait for him to say.

He motioned for me to walk, and so I did. After a while of walking around and to no avail, Harry compromised saying that he'll take me back to our restaurant because it was getting really dark and cold. He'd look for Lennox himself.

So we did that.

Back in the restaurant, Mia came running to me. She was the girl at the podium earlier.

"Young Master.." she tried to say in between breaths, trying to take in more air.

"What is it?" She looked worried.

"The guy you came with earlier, he's inside."

I was dead beat, I swear I could just flop onto the floor about any moment now. But hearing about Lennox, without any further hesitations I ran towards the restaurant and saw this blond guy with a puffy face, eating pumpkin soup.

I let out a big sigh of relief.

His eyes met mine.

Harry butted in being mad, yapping about the duties of being a butler. About how they should always stay with their boss. It was a long lecture.

I saw Lennox smiling and apologizing at the same time. It was as if he was almost containing his laughter.

I stopped Harry and reminded him that my butler is drunk, he wouldn't make a point even if he did have one because Lennox was out of it.

Lennox came to me, walking wobbly.

Harry was still arguing, it felt like endless.

Lennox bumped into me, held me by the shoulders to stabilize himself standing up, leaving Harry with utmost shock along with Mia who was watching this feud from the beginning.

"How dare y—"

"Harry, be nice." I told the angry man.

"That's it, you found your lousy butler. I'm still the bad guy even when I rescued you, i'm going home." He said with an angry tone.

"Harry, from the depths of my heart. Thank you, I called you for the reason that I can rely on you." I told him, with a smile.

Harry let out an exasperated sigh, smiled back at me and left. I reminded him to not let anyone in the manor know about tonight. He's a loud mouth, and he's friends with everyone.

Roman asked if he could help, so I asked for something to get rid of the intoxication. I'm not about to get my butler fired on his first day by bringing him home drunk. He gladly said yes and minutes after, we were both served coffee and Lennox was served with another kind of soup.

He was still red, and hot all over. He was sweating tremendously, you could see the trails of perspiration tracing his forehead.

Lennox was mumbling drunk thoughts under his breath. Mia was feeding him soup, Roman thought it wasn't my place to spoon feed someone else. Not even in the slightest did he agree.

I called the head of relations in the manor. Telling him about my late arrival. To buy me more time, and save this blonde's career.

I thanked Roman and Mia for their assistance, and this time I paid. Roman seemed unpleased with my current servant, he couldn't keep to himself his comparisons between Lennox and Harry, leaning in as to how Harry was better at so many levels.

"You should fire him, Master Chase." Roman said while Mia nodded of disapproval.

"Let's give him a chance, it's his first day."

With the two people still displeased, I asked of them to put Lennox in the backseat of my car. It's still a bit of a ride home, maybe he'd sober up along the way.
