my beloved felix,
you know i've always adored you.
but it looks like someone
adored you more than me.

my parents always complimented you, always cherished every moment
they spent with you.
you were like the son
they never had.
but it seems like they forgot
they had me.

so i did what i had to do.

you didn't see me
when i entered the kitchen.
you didn't see me
when i poured that liquid
in your and my parents' tea.

you all seemed to calm
after drinking it, until you
collapsed onto the floor.

so i waited.
i waited until your body
didn't move anymore.
i waited until i was sure you
couldn't breathe anymore.
