University is never what you think it will be like. Yes, it's the end of your school life and probably the most scariest time of it... well that's what I think anyways haha. However, everyone thinks university will be great and happy and other things they think but let me tell you from experience. It's never what you expect. You get piles of work, work and again work and on top of that you have to work for yourself, to earn money. I never introduced myself, silly of me. My name is Kim Taehyung, I'm 21 years old and I'm a student at X University in Seoul. The subject that I major in is Graphic design. Probably not the best option out there but I enjoy designing and things that relate to graphics. I always get told that I look handsome and all but I don't really like cute talk so that's why I'm single for the past two years . Dating isn't my thing. Love ruins life's, especially the ones that feel like being true but in the end turn out to be fake. Anyways, as I was saying. I'm single and I prefer to be that way.
???: Taehyunggg! *shouts whilst running towards him*
This is my friend Daehyun, we knew each other for about 5 years now and we always stuck together. She is that type of friend that I'm not embarrassed to talk about anything to. She is probably closer to me than my own parents. I'm half American so when I was born, I was actually born in New York so my accent is a bit American. I've only lived in Korea for about 3 years and daehyun was the only friend thats stuck by my side and came to live with me in Korea. However, she lives with her grandparents. Many mistake us as a couple but personally she is more like family than someone I would crush on.
Daehyun: Taehyunggg, hereee! *smiling and running*
Taehyung: Over here *waving towards her*
Daehyun: How have you been, I haven't seen you in ages *smiling*
If you lot are confused, Daehyun had to fly back to America to see her parents and she was gone for a few months so today was the first time we saw each other since she left.
Taehyung: Well I've been fine.
Daehyun: met anyone cute yet *love hearts appeared in her eyes and she started to beam*
Taehyung: you already know that I'm not the type to date anyone... after what happened a few years ago
Daehyun: oh yh sorry *she makes this face -> 😅* shall we maybe go to a cafe before lessons start. We still have like 2 hours left
Taehyung: Yh sure, that would be great

Location: Crystal Cafe, Seoul, South Korea
Time: 10:55am
Date: 18th May 2020

So me and Daehyun decided to go to a nearby cafe, about 15 minutes away from our university. We always used to come here before she left to go see her parents in America. I'm still trying to get used to places in Seoul as I've only lived here for about 3 years. I moved here at 18 haha. Anyways, we got a seat by the window and began to talk about what we were up to.  I found out that Daehyun actually got hit on in America but she declined the guy's love. I would have done the same if I were her.
Daehyun: So anything happened to you lately.
Taehyung: no...
Daehyun: I know you are lying to me *Says in her thoughts*
Daehyun: Ok
I couldn't tell her about the email.... I got a month ago.
Taehyung: I think we should get going now *smiling nervously*
Daehyun: *looks at her watch* Yh I agree. We only have about 30 minutes left before lessons start.
Taehyung: *picks up his bag and leaves quickly*
Daehyun: Yh, he is definitely hiding something from me

Author's Note: Hello dear readers, this is the author here. This isn't my first story that I written but it will, be the first one I'll actually complete haha. I'll be updating this around once or twice a week due to personal problems but I hope you'll understand and I hope you'll like the story. From time to time I will be writing these Author's Notes  or extra chapters to give you extra information on the story such as descriptions of characters, updates on the story line or a hello to my readers. I really hope you'll enjoy this story as I have a lot planned for it and I've been planning it for a while now. Maybe 3 months or more.
