Life kills, but you've just got to kill it before it can you.

A blessing and a curse.

You woke up to the sound you dreaded most mornings. Your stupid alarm. You realised it was your first day of school , a new school as well, San Marino High school. You dragged yourself out of bed after stretching for about 5 minutes. You hopped into the shower, dried your hair and put on an oversized hoodie which had a red rose going down the side of it, a pair of blue demon ripped jeans, a  arching beanie to your hoodie and some black vans. You had naturally wavy/curly hair so you left it as it is. You put some light make up on, packed your bag and headed down stairs. You were the only one awake. You decided to skip breakfast and quickly feed the dogs. You took your daily medication , grabbed your keys and drove to school.

 You arrived at your new school. It was huge. Bigger then any other one you've ever seen or been in. Your anxiety levels rose through the roof of your car. You parked in the parking spot you had to rent out. A lot of people were staring at you so you just put your hood up and carried on walking. You had the directions for the principals office written on your hand ,because that was the first place you were told to go to. You were walking through the corridors and everyone was looking and talking about you. You knocked on the principals door lightly , but loud enough to hear it. You were told to come in and did as was told. You seen a very modern , young lady behind a desk and a boy in a seat , in front of her. He seemed pretty quiet. He turned to look at you, he immediately looked back down to his feet and starting twirling his fingers , nervously. You took a seat next to him as the principal said.

Principal: " Ahh , you must be Ruby. It's lovely to finally meet you. I'm Principal Martin."

The lady stood out her hand presumably to shake yours. You shook it politely.

Principal:  " Not much of a speaker huh...?"

You shook your head slightly in a little fear. 

Principal: " I think you and Eubanks will get along quite nicely then, Could you be as kind and show Miss Córtes around the school please Eubanks?"

The boy stood up and quietly agreed. You followed along beside him. Their was an awkward silence between you 2. 

Eubanks: " S- So your the new kid huh?" He asked quietly 

Ruby: "Y-Yeah.."

You hated when you stutter be a use it meant that you were showing your nervousness. Eubanks? Was that his real name? He seemed pretty shy and quiet like you. He kept his hood up the entire tour. You wanted to ask why but then didn't after realising it would be rude. 

Eubanks: " This is your locker..." he quietly said. 

You looked at him again and blushed as you made eye contact. You opened your locker and put your unnecessary items in it. You were soon to follow him into a classroom. It said it was a Tutor room. You presumed it was your Tutor.

Eubanks: " This is the Tutor room , her name is Miss Williams. She's really nice."

You nodded and walked to the back of the classroom with Eubanks. You were still confused by his name. You just kind of went along with it.

You went through your bag to try and find a pen , but realised you left it in your locker by accident. You had to encourage yourself to talk to Eubanks , and ask for a pen. You lightly tapped him on the shoulder. You both talked very quietly.

Ruby: " I- I- I didn't catch your name sorry..."

Eubanks: " oh, it's-its Noen."

Ruby: " That's a nice name. Uhm can -can I borrow a pen?"
