MANMARZIYAAN -MY TAKE

The party begins

Zubin, Kritika and Teji had indeed outdone everyone's expectations by arranging such an amazing party with ordered pizzas, fries and burgers as well as the music system that was continuously blasting cool songs. The setting also had a big round table with enough chairs for everyone to sit. This was accompanied by lights and a few decorations. There were drinks as well as a sort of free space which could be used for games or dancing. All in all it was a raging party.

Slow music was playing. Suddenly the song changed and Arjun asked Sam to dance with him, which she readily accepted.

(The song)

Sam : It's funny isn't it how destiny works. Yehi gana aana tha jab you asked me for a dance. These words...... Arjun...... I really mean it. I feel really lucky to have you in my life. Tum mujhe kabhi dhoka toh nhi doge na??

Arjun felt a pang in his heart as he remembered the incident that took place in the morning.

Flashback
Arjun saw Radhika going on a morning jog early in the morning and that too completely alone. Within no time he felt his feet moving her way. He couldn't understand what was happening...... Why was he so concerned for her? If something happened to her his path would become easier. His 'raaste ka pathar' would finally leave his way. Yet here he was going after her like a protective shield.

After about half an hour Radhika crossed a couple of guys who tried to tease and misbehave with her. They received punches from Arjun and ran away.

Radhika was shook by this incident.

Radhika : Thank you sir. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't come. Thanks again!
Arjun: it's alright. And but you should not go alone early morning for a walk in this area. Don't repeat it again. I won't be tehre every time.

Radhika : Sir vaise toh aaj se pehle mujhe lagta tha ki aap Sam ke liye sahi nhi hai. Par aaj aisa lagta hai ki aap jitna bura apne aap ko batate hai....... Utne bure aap hai nhi........ Aapke andar bhi ek bahut accha insaan hai jo Sam ka bharosa.... Mera bharosa kabhi nhi todega. THANK YOU SIR!

Present time

Arjun smiled slightly at Sam and nodded a quick yes.

Meanwhile, Radhika sat at a distance watching her environment- Sama nd Arjun dancing, Teji, Zubin and Kritika playing pranks on each other and Samrat and Piyali laughing together. She had never thought she could fulfill her dream of becoming a writer. God had even given her the friendship of these beautiful people who made each day of her life even happier.

Just then Neil joined Radhika with a glass of wine in his hand.

Neil : Hmm Chasni. What are you thinking so deeply about?? Kiske khayalon mein khoi hui ho haan?? He asked jokingly

Radhika : Stop it yaar Neil. Nothing like that. I was just thinking how much my life has changed...... That too for the better.

Neil : Ohho Radhika. Abhi senti nhi hone ka. Come on have a sip of this wine. It tastes awesome.

Radhika : Nhi Neil....... I don't want to drink it.... Maybe...... Nhi nhi I don't know..... Matlab main kaise......

Neil : Kaise kya Chasni glass pakdo, mooh tak leke jao, thoda upar uthao aur gatak lo.

Radhika : NEIL!!

Neil : Arre toh yeh bhi koi question hota hai kya re. Come on chalo now.

Radhika took a sip. She immediately liked it and looked at Neil in a amused yet approving manner. They sat there looking at Sam and Arjun.

Neil : Sammy kitni khush lag rhi hai na. Arjun ne sahi kaha tha uski khushi mein hi uski khoobsurati hai.

Radhika : But mujhe toh laga tha ki tumhe Arjun sir pasand nhi hai.

Neil : Haan toh ab kaunsa pasand hai vo akdoo mujhe. But dekho Sam ki smile....... Pata hai Radhika jab Sam hasti hai na toh aisa lagta hai ki jaise puri duniya roshni se jhilmila uthi ho............. Aur jab vo dukhi hoti hai toh poori duniya mein mano andhera sa chaa jata hai

Neil's words made her remember another conversation she had with Neil.

Flashback
Neil : Arjun Sam ki value nhi janta Radhika. Aur Sam ko bhi yeh baat samajh nhi aayegi.

Radhika: Kya hai Sam ki value Neil

Neil: Uski value...... Hmm......
Uski value hai uska raat ko talli hoke road par baith jana............
Uska meri mummy ko raat ko na jagane ke liye lamp post ke neeche akele baith jana..........
Uska raat ko mujhe jagane ke liye coffee ka cup leke mere ghar par pahuch jana..........
Uski behti naak aur uske bikhre baal........

Radhika : "Jaise tum Sam ko dekhte ho, vaise agar koi ladka kisi ladki ko dekhe toh usse kitna pyaar karta hoga!!"

After this god knows what got into Neil and he made an excuse and left her place. That was the day when she had for the first time had the feeling that Sam meant more to Neil than a best friend.............

Present time

Radhika was still in her thoughts and did not realise when words left her mouth. It only struck her as to what she had spoken when she saw Neil's face.

Radhika : Yeh toh koi aisa hi bol sakta hai jiski duniya hi Sam ho.

Neil was startled by Radhika's words. He did not know how to react. There was an awkward silence for a minute.

Neil : Arre Chasni....... Haha....... Kuch bhi bolti ho tum. Accha chalo Samrat sir and Piyali ma'am ko dance ke liye poochte hai.

With this he hurried off towards Piyali. Although he tried to mask his feelings but his expressions gave it all away. Radhika felt her gut feeling grow stronger. Still before jumping to any conclusions she decided to see Sam's side first. With this she finally approached Samrat for a dance.

Zubin grabbed Kritika's hand and took her to the dance floor. Teji sat dreaming about Bonnie. Oh how nice it would have been if she would have been here.

Suddenly he saw Bonnie in front of his eyes. He started taking small steps towards her. Love in his eyes. He grabbed her waist put her arm on his shoulder and started the ball dance. Five minutes into the dance he leaned in to kiss her.......... But was met with a jerk and a push. He fell to the ground....

All the couples -  Neil-Piyali , Radhika-Samrat, Zubin-Kritika along with Samaira stood rooted to their positions. Teji glanced at them and then at the place where Bonnie was supposed to be there. But Bonnie was NOWHERE to be seen. Instead at that position stood a dumbstruck Arjun.

Arjun : HOW DARE YOU!! HUH

It struck Teji that he had mistaken Arjun to be Bonnie and had danced with him and was about to ki....... Yuck even the thought disgusted Teji.

At the same time except the two of them burst out laughing.

Kritika : Okay guys. Let's play sometime now.

Zubin : Yes!

Sam : But what??

Kritika smiled mischeviously and said : TRUTH OR DARE
