During the weekend, Y/n decided to sleep in and do nothing the whole time. Unfortunately, herr day got interrupted when she got a message from Jooheon.

Joo:
You're busy?

Y/n:
Why?

Joo:
Answer me.

Y/n:
I'm not busy.

Joo:
I'm coming over.

Y/n furrowed her eyebrows as she took Jooheon's word as a joke. She put down her phone and pulled her blanket to cover herself.

She dozed off for a while until a knock was heard. "He really came?" Y/n quickly changed her clothes and tied her hair in a bun.

She opened the door in rush as Jooheon looked at her weirdly. "Why are you here?" Jooheon ignored her as he pushed her aside and went inside.

Y/n noticed how he bought a paper bag along with him. He sat down as Y/n closed the door and sat beside him, leaving some distance of course.

"I bought some food." He said as he pulled out a few takeouts and put it on the table. Y/n's eyes widened and grinned. Jooheon looked at her and smiled.

"Let's eat." Y/n nodded her head eagerly as she sat down at the floor. Jooheon looked at her confusedly. "What are you doing?" He raised an eyebrow.

Y/n grinned as she pat the space beside her. "Eating on the floor is more comfortable." Jooheon followed her and sat beside her. She passed him the chopsticks as they both started eating.

"Anyways, you didn't tell me yet the reason you came." Jooheon froze as he took a glance at Y/n, who's anticipating of his answer. Jooheon looked back at his food and continued eating it.

"I'm not in the mood to eat alone today."
Y/n nodded her head and continued to eat. Jooheon put down his chopsticks and leaned himself at the couch. He turned his head and looked at Y/n.

She enjoys eating that much huh. Jooheon chuckled which made Y/n looked at him. "What is it?" Jooheon grinned and shook his head.

Y/n shrugged it off and continued to eat. "I'm weird, right?" Jooheon asked. Y/n tilted her head and shrugged. "What makes you think so?"

"I got into the police station because of you. And then you hit me with your car. And now, I'm eating brunch with you. Isn't it weird?" Y/n grinned and looked at him.

"You're an unexpected person, Lee Jooheon." Jooheon grinned and picked up his chopsticks. He continued to eat and cannot help but stole a glance at Y/n from time to time.

After finishing up, Y/n cleaned the dishes and went back to Jooheon. Jooheon was staring blankly at the floor as Y/n waved her hand in front of his face.

He flinched a little and smiled at her. They held eye contact until Jooheon's phone rang. Jooheon picked up the call.

Jooheon
Who is this?

Bomin
It's me, Bomin.

Jooheon
What is it?

Bomin
How's your date going?

Jooheon furrowed his eyebrows and hung up. He put down the phone fiercely. "Is everything alright?" Jooheon nodded his head and smiled.

"I'm sorry if I'm interrupting your day." Y/n shook her head. "It's alright." Jooheon nodded his head as he stood up and took his phone.

"I'll get going then." Y/n bid goodbye to Jooheon as he left off to meet Bomin at the cafe. Bomin grinned widely after seeing Jooheon's figure.

"How's your date with Y/n?" Jooheon rolled his eyes as he took a seat across him. "It's not a date. I'm just treating her." Bomin wiggled his eyebrows.

"Treating her? Is that really all? You asked me about her favourite food and all and you're just treating her?" Jooheon nodded his head.

"I felt sorry for her."
