Chapter 2 - What?!

I put the two cartons in my backpack and sat their with my arms crossed

*How rude of him, it was his first day and I was just trying to be ni-* before I could finish my little rant I got a call from my mother.

" Honey I won't be able to pick you up so you'll have to walk, bye! " she said quickly and then hung up.

" Love you to " I said as I put my phone in my pocket and got up.

" Well on the bright side it's nice out " I said as I walked around a near by park and spotted a little girl on a swing with her head down.

*Well I have nowhere to be so I should go help her* I thought.

*Hopefully she doesn't think I'm creepy like how Key probably did* I walked over to her.

" How did I not know... " the little girl said.

*That voice... Min Si... she was wearing the same light purple sweater... and that black skirt with flowers* As I got closer she quickly turned around.

" Min Si what are you doing here?!? What's wrong?! " I asked surprised.

" N-nothing I just got a-a bad grade! " she said as she got up and wiped her tears away quickly.

" What's wrong? You can tell me... " I said as I put my hand on her shoulder.

" Well I... I liked a boy... but I found out that he likes my best friend " she said as tears rolled down her cheeks.

" Oh Min Si " I said as I hugged her tightly.

" It's okay... he doesn't know what he's missing out on, you're smart, funny, and nice, cheer up okay? " I let her go and wiped her tears.

" Want some banana milk? " I said as I took the two cartons out and handed her one because banana milk was her favorite.

" Why did you buy two? " she asked as she stook the straw into the little hole.

" Well I bought one for someone but... they didn't want it... " I said as I took a sip of the milk.

" Who wouldn't want banana milk?! " she asked surprised.

" Well he doesn't really know me and it was his first day at school... mabe that's the reason but... he even pushed me... " I finally said.

" Oh hehe " she began to giggle.

" Wh-what?!?! " I asked.

" Oh haha nothing " she said as we started to walk home.

" Hahaha! " she laughed as she threw her milk carton away and held onto her stomach.

" I'm telling you he's so mean! "

*What is this she's laughing so hard?!?! But it's not funny!* I walked while giving her a confused look.

We finally got home.

" Jay Yi... " I turned around because Min Si was calling me.

" Th-thank you... " she said as she bowed deeply.

" No problem! " I said as I patted her back.

I went to my room and threw myself onto my bed.

" How could I become one of Key's friends... well mabe... no... or I could... no... ughhh this is hopeless " I grabbed my pillow and put it on my face and yelled.

" Ughhh why doesn't he like me? " I wined as I layed their.

*What should I do?* I thought.

" I'm home! " my mother said as she opened the front door.
