Chapter 8

I couldn't stay asleep for long so as soon as I knew Ares was out cold I finished packing and getting August.

That now explains why I am at the entrance of my parents house my home . I knock on the wooden door.

I hear muffled words and footsteps approaching.

The door opens and my mother faces away from me.

"I don't see how you can't get off your lazy ass. Who are-"
She pauses as she finally realized it was me.

"Novelty!!!! Richard get down here our baby is home... and she brought me a grandson!!!!!" She said jumping around hugging me.

"Mommy can we go inside please."

"Of course sweetie."

My dad then came thundering down the steps.
"Is that I'm little tt."

I gave a shy wave.
"Hey dad"

I give him a hug then make my way tow the living room with August in tow.

"Mom...Dad, I want you to meet your grandson, August. Say hi August honey."

My parents stare at him in awe.

"Hi gwandma and gwandpa."

As August says this my parents jump out of their seats and rush to give him a hug.

"Oh my gosh!!!! You're just so cute. Now I have a grandson a snuggle bug."

My mom just snuggled him until my dad pried her off of him.

"Hey champ how are ya."

"It's been awhile gwandpa."

"I know but now you can see me in person."

You see August has talked to them before just over the phone.

"Mommy can I talk to you in the kitchen?"

She followed me.
"What's the problem?"

"Can me and August stay here for awhile?"
"Of course baby."
She pulled me into a hug because she knew that at that moment I needed her.

Ares POV

I woke up with the beginnings of a smile on my face but they fall off as I can't feel her next to me.
I get up and begin looking for her but see all her clothes are gone.
I check in August's room and he's gone too. How dare her take my son!!!
I go to Tares' room.

Unfortunately I walk in on her eating out one of the maids.
"Get the fuck out now!"

The maid scurries away.
"What the fuck man I was about to get me some."

"Did you know she left?"
"Novelty left huh.... figures"
"What do you mean figures?"
"She's upset you dragged her here."
"We'll help me find her she's mine and I plan on keeping it that way.
