The chef put our plates infront of us and we began eating.

"So how's your career going?" I asked August biting into the lobster and fried rice.

"Its been great bri you know I've got a tour coming up soon so that should be cool" I nodded "I heard maybe I'll miss you" I giggled.

"You could come with me you know?" He put his fork down and grabbed my hand. "Ive been feeling you brielle, you just got this vibe even when your mad I wanna be around you...." I smiled "I'll think about it alright?" He nodded.

The rest of dinner was pretty good we had small talk and finished up our food.

Once we were in the car august looked at me and smiled . I smiled back as his cool hand rested on my thigh. I got a little wet and excited but I know I have to put my hormones aside for a while.

August pulled up in front of my house. He walked around the car and opened the door for me I stepped out and gave him a hug.

"Thank you for tonight." I said letting go.

"No problem ma what's up for tomorrow?" He asked grabbing onto my hand.

"Oh you think your slick huh?" I smiled and began to unlock the door.

"Maybe so what's up?" I kissed his cheek as I walked into the door way. "I'll think about it"

I hurriedly ran up to my room getting my work bag and fixing up my makeup then headed to my car within 15 minutes I pulled up to the club and sped walked inside to get to my dressing room.

"Hey girl" sparkle said she's a dancer 1-4 that I'm cool with. She had a short red Bob with a chocolate complexion and a big booty. She was one of the highest paid here and was making money to keep her kid looking nice and satisfied.

"What's up?" I said smiling big

"Erica told me you went out with august alsina is it true?!" I nodded not really wanting to get I detail about my personal life.

"She will probably get him took by me just like her other man" the same bitch that was at my house. I laughed and shook my head.

"And you'll probably damn near piss yourself like you did when you "took my man" again" she smirked "bitch please and I did take your nigga he's eating this pussy every night" I shrugged.

"Please I care" I stated sarcastically and bland.

"Yaw stop. Candy why you always being a bitch? Get a life" candy took her blonde hair and flipped it over her caramel shoulder.

"Girl bye" she walked off purposely switching her hips like somebody gave a damn.

"Fuck that bitch yo do you if you want august go for it girl. Your beautiful and damn sure have a life ahead of you unlike that chicken headed ass hoe" sparkle said.

"Thanks girl" I looked up at the clock "oh shit I'm on in 3 minutes" I said hopping up from my seat.

The next morning I had a pounding headache from getting drunk just so I could dance. I got to finish this money to fully own my shop and from getting fined from letting Erica work there and not being a certified hair dresser. After the bad publicity people havent really been coming in and I haven't been getting money. I stripped down from my clothes and got in the shower letting the hot water sooth my aching muscles. My phone vibrated against the sink I picked it up and smiled at august's name.

"Hey" I answered

"Was sup ma wyd" I looked down at my bath and frowned.

"Um just finishing up cooking a late night snack"

"Oh you hungry huh?" He laughed hysterically while I was trying to figure out the joke.

"Whatchu mean?" I asked

"I hear yo shower water running ma , I think it's cute you answered while you in the shower tho that makes me special"

I giggled "how so?"

"Because who does that?"

"Me" I said trying to hold back a smile it was true I like August he made me smile and happy something I haven't been in a while.

"I miss you ma" August pouted into the phone.

"I miss you too"

"Go out for breakfast with me in the morning?" He asked me I could tell he was grinning. "Sure why not"

"Ok I'll see you tomorrow bae"
I laughed" bye August"

I hung up washed my body then got out I laid in bed drifting off with August on my mind...
