I'm used to hearing screams that come from lost, confused, and terrified patients. People refer to them as psychopath. Which isn't really the best thing to call them. It's rude. And, i'm pretty sure it triggers them. It makes them mad inside. I can tell.

My name is Andrea Maddison. I'm from Florida. I live in Boston, Massachusetts. I'm 20 years old, and I work at the White Sands Asylum. I work as a psychiatrist there. If you don't know what that is, it means that I help mentally ill people by talking with them about their feelings and, making them feel better and better.

You're probably wondering why I'm working at an asylum, having millions of other jobs in the world. Well, I guess its because, I've always been into... scary things. Yanno? I've always been interested in the mind of people as well. Especially when they're special in the head. Call me weird, but it's what interests me. And I've always loved helping others out.

I sighed, as I waited for my coffee to finish boiling or whatever the hell it does. I flipped on the news channel, on my tv. FOX 25 to be exact. They were just talking about sports and everything else. I looked at the clock on the kitchen wall. It read 5:30 am. I have 3 hours of sleep left. Well at least I do. My roommate, Jasmine Morales, who's my age, and who is also from Florida also from Puerto Rico, has to go to work. She works at the same mental institution as me. But she works in a different ward which is Ward C. They are required to wake up early. Unlike me, I wake up at 8:30, since I work in the most psychotic ward, Ward D!

We have Wards. Each Ward has their own uniform, nurses, body guards, and psychiatrists. Ward A is the ward for people who are deformed, Green Uniform/Scrubs. Ward B is for people who hear voices in their head, and are deformed, Orange Uniform/Scrubs. Ward C is for people who threaten workers, and sometimes become physical and are suicidal, where Jasmine works Purple Uniform/Scrubs. Then there's Ward D, Baby Blue Uniform/Scrybs, where I work. Which is where all the action takes place. It's terrifying. And it makes you feel sad too. Seeing people, mentally ill and... It's just... It's crazy...

"Jasmine!" I shouted through our house. No response. I sighed, and ran up the stairs. I went into her room, and walked to the guest bed that she has in her room incase anyone ever wants to sleep over. "Jasmine. Wake up. You have to go to work." She wouldn't wake up. I shook her by the shoulders, "Jasmine!" I shouted.

"Leave me alone!" She moaned, in annoyance.

"Fine." I smirked. I walked out of the room, and went to the bathroom. I grabbed the empty trash can. "We'll do it the mean way, then." I smiled. I filled the can with freezing cold water from the sink. After I filled it up, I carried it to Jasmine's room. "Jasmine, you wanna wake up?" I asked, extremely politely.

"Fuck off." She groaned, and continued sleeping.

"If you say so, babe!" I smirked, and dumped the freezing water onto her body.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" She shrieked, sitting up and getting out of bed quickly.

"You're welcome!" I raised my eyebrows.

"Seriously, dude?!" She shivered.

"Yep! It's 5:58 am. You're late." I said, as her eyes widened.

"Shit." She muttered, racing to the bathroom. I chuckled. Where would she be, if I weren't there to wake her up? I sat on her own bed, and sighed. Well, what the fuck do I do now? I'm bored and I can't fall asleep. I laid under Jasmine's covers, too lazy to go back to my own bed. I shut my eyes, trying to sleep but I just couldn't! About 4 minutes pass, and I hear the water from the shower stop. I cuddled against the covers, feeling extremely comfortable. I heard Jasmine walking into her room.
