"How old are you?”, I asked staring at the Adonis in front of me.
“Too old for you.”, he replied without even giving me a glance. I scoffed.
“I was asking for a friend.”, he finally looked at me raising his perfect eyebrows at me.
“A friend huh?”, he asked staring at me with those sharp dark green eyes giving me those weird feelings and I gulped, backing away from those intense eyes.
He was making me nervous. I have never been nervous around anyone. He was weird to me. This feeling was weird.
Just as I turned around to leave the room I hear him say.
“Stay away from me.”, ignoring him I left him there. Feeling my heart break all over again. He wasn't what I thought he was. He wasn't my mate.

All Althea wanted was to surround herself with lots of friends to avoid the loneliness that was with her since like forever, just to escape the reality. So she traveled the world meeting new people every year with her best friend. But after her best friend decided to settled down with his mate. Not wanting to third wheel between her best friend and his mate she decided to travel alone.

Then enter Killian, the ruthless demon who wants nothing but revenge from the vampire kingdom, and he'll get it by hook or by crook.
Through the way to finding a mate Althea has to go through heart breaks, wars and suffering. But will Althea survive at the end?
