Hey, I'm Diamond. I'm going to tell you a little story about me. My life is probably different from yours. I was a really happy person with a really nice family. I always had good grades and never got into fights. So one day. I was at the park with one of my GUY friends. It was after school because my mom said that she was going to be 2 hours late so she asked me if I could wait at the park with my GUY friend Dustin. Until...something made me change...forever. Dustin went to the parks office to see if he could join the baseball team so I said that I would wait for him at the other end of the park. I was walking by a group of kids playing with rocks and throwing them at each other😓! I didn't want to get in trouble or get hurt so I ignored. But one of the little boys yelled and said, " hey wanna play with us!? " Of course I didn't want to so I said, " I'll be right back, I have to go find something I left on the other end of the park". The little boy looked at his friends slowly then looked at me.(I could tell that he knew I was lying) He yelled," GET HER!!!" My mind was blank. I didn't know what to think or what to do except...RUN. I ran as fast as I could...until I saw Dustin coming out of the office and seeing me run, and the kids chasing after me with the rocks. Dustin yelled, " DIAMOND?! " I just kept running because if I didn't I would have been hit with the rocks. He ran after the kids and me. I was so stupid. I fell. I dropped my phone when I fell because it slid out of my back pocket. I hit my face on the concrete. I stayed there. The kids had small rocks so they didn't hurt that much...But the kid that yelled at me in the first place had a rock the size of my hand, if not bigger. I covered my head. He through it at the back of my head. The last thing I saw was Dustin yelling at the kids. He was my best friend.
I knew my head was bleeding.
I woke up in the hospital and I saw a lady and a boy sitting in chairs next to me. I could see blurry a little bit only. I asked, " what happened? " the lady was crying and looked at me and said, " do you know who i am? " I answered," no?" She said starting to cry even more ," I'm your mother😓"
I looked at the handsome boy with dimples and asked, " who are you?"
He said with a tear going down his face, " I'm your best friend"
After he said that...beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
The next day (I think) I woke up in the hospital my eyes were WORSE
😭 I could ONLY see blurry if the object was close I could see it a little. A lady walked in and explained what happened and have me eye drops and medicine. Then she left. 1 hour later she came in again and said, " you have a visitor I think he said his name was Dustin?..." I said, "oh let him in please". He came in and explained what happened and who he was. I couldn't believe it. He showed me pictures of my friends on Instagram and trying to tell me who they were. He showed me a video of me singing when I was 10 and said that I showed it to him a while back. He said, " do you remember any of them? " I said, " no I'm sorry". Tears started rolling down his face. The nurse came in and said, " can I talk to Diamond for a little bit Dustin? Sure he answered. The lady sat down and said that when he was waiting to come into the room...he was on the phone with one of his friends and said, " idk I really love her...what if she doesn't remember anything...what if she doesn't remember me?... I can't live like that. I was very surprised because I felt like I just met him.
