As I walk in the aisle of Manila Cathedral, holding a flower bouquet. I looked straight to the man standing at the altar waiting for his bride.

He resembled the Sun. Where the fortunate ones are in the thorough distance to feel his warmth. Through different paths all the people that met him felt captivated. He was the brightest person you could ever meet.

Whilst I walked, I reminisced about everything that we've bonded. There was kindness in his smile, a gentleness. A smile of one who laughed with simplicity. He was the type of a man who lived how he believed people should, their flaws entirely invisible to his gaze. Yet, most of all, he was my friend. He is my best friend that I will never want to change, thus, I don't want to lose.

Bringing back the memories makes me cry, as I walked in the aisle and looked him in the eye. I am happy that he, the luckiest man on Earth, is marrying the woman of his dreams.

"I wonder what would look like if we had all understood our feelings better and could be honest with ourselves, before." As I remember when we ignore our feelings for the sake of our friendship.

"I hope, I'm still the one you love until the end. Praying for our happiness." I whispered and while I held back my tears.

He isn't simply a good friend, he becomes part of my soul. As I recall the promises that we made in the past. When life becomes a storm, we will be there for each other if it happens, and that we will never change, everything will stay upon.

I am slowly closing to the altar, closer to him.

"I hope you are happy now." I said..
