Happy pov
Sitting at the table with my brothers around me, we stared at the box in the middle. It was delivered during the night and no one quite knew what it was.
"Alright, Chibs go ahead" jax sighed

Chibs got up from his seat next to jax and opened the box. As he took the lid off, the sides fell down, showing a baby doll with three bullets in its head and blood around it. There was also an envelope under it. Chibs grabbed the envelope and opened it pulling out a letter.
He looked around at all of us and then looked back at the letter and started to read it:
"Give us the money and the guns or this how's little jade's unborn baby will eventually look"

My face paled as I heard that name and I could feel the steam coming out my ears. How the fuck had someone found out about her, the club didn't even know her.
"Jade? There's no close to us called jade" juice said confused
"No there's not, maybe there taking about one of the other old ladies" jax said also confused.
All the boys round the table nodded but still very confused.
This is a day I didn't want to come but I guess now I have no choice.
"There is someone close to us called jade" I spoke up and the boys looked at me to explain.
"My old lady"

The boys all looked shocked and it was silent for a minute so I decided to carry on.
"Jade smith. My old lady for 2 years now and having my kid" I explained.

Jax was the first to speak up.
"Happy man, why didn't you tell us"
"I didn't want any one to connect me to her, the shit I do for the club, that could kill her. Last 2 years, no ones had any idea, I don't know how anyone's found out now" I replied, hit the table.
"Shit!" I shouted, getting pissed off and rig squeezed my shoulder.
"Right, happy does she know about the club" jax asked and I nodded
"Okay right, hap were gonna need to meet her, we need to know who to protect. That alright" he said to me.

I never wanted jade involved with the club but I guess I have no choice.
"Yea" I replied with a sigh
"Right, Hap you take us to her now" jax said and I nodded
"Right let's head out" he said and banged the gavel.

I stood up straight away, throwing open the door and storming out to my bike. I sat on it thinking of my beautiful girl and unborn kid. I didn't know what I was going to do. Jade had no problem with me being in the club and she had no problem with me wanting her to not meet the club or let them know. I sighed running my hand over my head. I had no choice now.
"Ready hap" I looked up at jax and I nodded
"Alright let's move out"

We all put in our helmets and started the engines and I led them to the house where me and jade stayed.

Jade pov
I knew happy would be home soon so I was making dinner for us. I had a beer out ready for him on the table. I put the food in the oven to cook and sat down at the table, rubbing my belly. I'm 7 and a half months pregnant with happy's baby, it was a surprise but both me and him were very happy and excited.

I was knocked out of my thoughts when I heard multiple motorcycles. I was confused. Happy never introduced me to the club, wanted to keep me safe. I peered our the window to see happy sitting on his bike talking to what I could assume was the other club members. Which probably wasn't a good thing. I walked to the front door, taking the chain of and unlocking it. I took a breath before opening the door and as I did happy turned to look at me as well as the rest of the men.
"Happy, what's going on?" I asked and looked at him.

He looked at the group and got off his bike waking up to me. He wrapped his arms round me and held me for a second before pulling away.
"I had to tell them baby, someones threatened you and our kid. I'm sorry, I don't know how they found out about you but I needed to tell the club, you need protection" he said to me, looking into my eyes.

I took a deep breath. I was confused and scared .
"Who's threatened me" I asked, I understood what was going on but I was confused.
"I don't know babe" he answered.
I took a minute before answering.
"Okay" I nodded and walked back into the house and sat in the kitchen.

A few minutes later, the whole group came in. Happy stood behind me with his hands in my shoulders.
"Hi darling, I'm jax" a tall blond spoke Who I recognised as the president.
"President right?" I asked and he nodded
"I'm jade" I introduced and he smiled.
"This is Chibs, Bobby, tig, juice, Phil and clay" he introduced everyone.
"Hi it's nice to meet you all" I smiled at them and carried on
"Would you lien a drink, I've got beer in the fridge or there's water" I asked politely. These boys didn't seem so bad.
"beer please darlin" jax answered

I nodded and got up, going to the fridge. I got out 7 beers and handed them out.
"So lass, you know why we are ere" chibs spike and I nodded.
"Someone threatened me and the kid" I nodded
"Aye" he said
"Jade you gonna have to come to the clubhouse" Bobby spoke and I felt happy tense up behind me. I grabbed his hand that was on my shoulder.
"Okay, anything to keep the kid safe" I nodded
"I'll go grab some stuff"
I got up and headed to the bedroom. I grabbed a bag from the wardrobe and packed some clothes that would last me for 2 weeks.
"I'm sorry baby" I heard from the door making me look up to see happy leaning against it, looking down at the floor. I walked over and grabbed his face with my hands.
"This is not your fault" I said sternly and he nodded and I carried on:
"It can't be helped but now you have to keep me and the kid safe and kill the motherfucker that threatened us"
I dropped my hands to his chest as he grabbed my face and kissed me.
"I will little girl" he promised and moved around the room to help me pack.

Once we had packed, happy grabbed the bag and grabbed my hand and we walked back into the kitchen where all the boys still were. I had my free hand on my stomach. I wouldn't admit it but I was scared and wanted to protect my baby as much as I could.
"How many months" jax asked looking at my stomach and then at my face.
"About seven and a half" I smiled.
" you know the gender" he asked
I looked at happy and he nodded
"A little girl" I smiled

The boys all smiled and jax came and gave me a hug.
" your apart of this family now jade and that little girl is going to be protected but all of us no matter what" he spoke and then let go of me.
"Thank you" I replied and smiled at them all.
"Lays get going" jax instructed.

Happy led me to a black van and I saw juice jump into the drivers seat. Happy helped me get in and he put the bag of the floor in front of me. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and shut the door. I felt the van move as I was looking out the window
"I'm juice"
I turned round and looked at him.
"Nice to meet you juice, I'm jade" I smiled at him.
"So any ideas on name for the little girl" he asked and I shrugged
"I'm not to sure yet"
He nodded and carried on driving.
Surprisingly I wasn't scared for myself but rather for for my baby and happy. I knew what happy done for the club, that's how I met him.

Flashback:
Damm it, I was gonna be late for work again. My boss was definitely gonna beat me again for being late. I worked as a dancer at a club just outside charming, my boss was a bit intense.

Finally I arrived at work. I didn't have a car so I had to walk for 45 minutes in heels to get the there but it was good paying. I walked in to immediately be slapped around the face. Shit that hurt. I felt him drag me by my hair and slam the door shut.
"Why the fuck are you late huh, I've got very important people waiting for a dance" he shouted at me spitting in my face as he does. He punched me again.
"What's going on here" I heard a different voice.

I opened my eyes to see a tall, muscular man with a bad head. Wow he was hot.
"Bitch was late ya know, business is important" my boss answered, laughing.
"Let er go" I heard a different voice say and I felt myself being dropped to the ground, my head hitting the floor hard.
"Do your thing hap" the voice said.

I looked up to see the bald man pull out a gun and put it to my boss's head.
"Beat innocent women and you die" the bald guy said as he shot my boss in the head.

The other guy with blond/brown hair helped me up.
"I'm kozik that's happy" he said
"Jade" I replied
Flashback over.

I knew this day would come but it came at a bad time.
