"My love, please calm down" The man said as he gently hold my trembling hands. "I'm sorry" I took a couple of deep breath before looking at him while consistently peeking at our laced fingers.

"It took a while for you to wake up, Irene" He sigh. "You have been unconscious for nearly a month" He continues. A... A month? "I found you, lying in your pool of blood...not moving" His head lean forwards and his bangs slightly covered his upper face. "I thought I've lost you" I nearly died? Why can't I remember anything?

"My sweet sweet Irene, you nearly gave me a heart attack that day. But thank god, you survived! I knew you are a fighter, my love. A strong one that is" He compliments as he lift back his head and shot me a dazzling smile. This man. I cleared my throat and give him an awkward smile.

"T-thanks? uh... from the way that you addresses me, are we perhaps in a... relationship?" A look of hurt flashes through his eyes as he smiles at me. "You are my wife, sweetheart. My lovely wife that I vowed to love and care." Well, I expected that. It is not a suprise since he kept addressing me with a cring-... pet names.

"Look, I'm sorry that I... I don't remember anything about you. Heck, I don't even know my name if you hadn't rub-... I mean say it a couple of times. Again, I'm sorry for what ever happened... uhm... husband?" This gets really awkward and annoying. What's his name again?

"Uriel. Uriel Kieran." His facial expression soften a little. "It's not your fault Irene. If anyone to blame, it's me. I... I'm sorry" I look at him in confusion. What is he sorry about?

"Uhm, lets just forget about whose fault is this. A-anyway, is this... perhaps your house?" I quickly change the topic towards the building we're in. I hate people asking me for forgiveness when I don't even know what happened to me.

"It's our home" He hummed.
