Nimrod looked over at HeavyDirtySoul, "Shouldn't someone make sure your brother is not going to run off?" HeavyDirtySoul laughed slightly, "He's too scared to go anywhere, Nimrod." Nimrod nodded slightly, "Okay... I guess." Ocean looked at Stitchez, "Are we leaving anyone to guard the camp?" Stitchez looked at Bad Flowers hopeful face, "We can leave some behind...But only a few." Ocean nodded, "Of course." Stitchez looked at everyone then announced, "Riptide, and..." Ocean looked at Stitchez and muttered, "We can leave Riptide and Nimrod here." Stitchez nodded then turned to the crowd and barked, "Riptide and Nimrod will stay behind to guard the camp!" Bad Flower's ears dropped at these words. Ocean stepped forward, "Everyone else will come with us!" Ocean led the wolves into the dark forest. Sun stood next to her as they tried to find the scent of Heartz. "I've got the scent!" Bad Flower called to the rest. Sun and Stitchez raced over "LET'S GO!" Sun barked as he ran following the scent. "Wait!" Ocean cried. "The scent leaves our borders into Darkpack!" She raced after Sun. Ocean could see Sun sound suddenly stop and she rotted closer to him. He stood on a cliff and below was a huge burnt valley. The only fire that still burned was in the middle; it was shaped and read SUN. Sun dropped as tears began to form. Ocean stood next to Sun and her jaw dropped.
Sun got up and looked at the rest of the pack and barked, "Go back to the camp! We need to make sure everyone is still there." Bad Flower took the lead running as fast as he could. When they reached the camp they found Riptide knocked out. Bad Flower ran into the medican den to find that Overcast, Pipet, Rain and Nimrod all were gone. HeavyDirtySoul ran to his and Nimrod's den to see a note that read: "Overcast is safe. You need to finish your mission." HeavyDirtySoul's heart started to race as he muttered to himself, "T-This wasn't the deal. I-I was told Overcast won't be harmed or taken hostage. I did this for him. T-To protect him." HeavyDirtySoul ripped up the note as Bad Flower ran past him barking, "Overcast! Baby Boy I'm back!" Bad Flower gave up and collasped next to his and Overcast's den crying, "N-No this isn't happening. My Baby Boy has not been kidnapped!" Stitchez looked into the medical den as X-Ray stood next to him comforting Stitchez as Stitchez cried.
Meanwhile Sun stayed behind and stared at the fire. "Hey there." Said a familiar voice from behind Sun. Sun turned around quickly to see the ghost of Thunder. Thunder smirked as Sun's heart skipped a beat. Is this really him? Or is it a joke? Sun thought as Thunder circled him. Thunder stopped right behind Sun and whispered in his ear, "You know...I never truly loved you?" Sun shook his head, "N-No this c-can be real!" Thunder's spirit moved in front of Sun, "Oh, but it is real Sun. I just took pity upon you" Sun covered his ears with his paws, "The real Thunder loved me v-very much!" Thunder looked at Sun, "Are you sure I did? Because I'm really good at lying." Sun removed his paws from his ears giving up fighting Thunder, "What do you want me to do then 'Thunder'?" Thunder didn't nowest that Sun said his name sarcastically.Thunder's ghost whispered in Sun's ear, "I used you... I'll do it again. Now Sun, tell me how that feels.." Sun whimpered, "T-Thunder never used me." Thunder looked Sun over then said plainly, "I can tell you feel dirty don't you Sun?" Sun shook his head hesitantly, "N-No." Thunder smirked, "You're hesitating." Sun backed away, "So?" Thunder moved closer to Sun, "It means you're lying." Sun tried to back away more but one of his paws slipped over the edge, "No I'm not." Thunder laughed, "You think I don't know when my own 'mate' is lying, Sun?" Sun winced as he heard Thunder say(sarcastically) that he was that thing's mate, "Y-You're not Thunder!" Sun cried towards the spirit.Thunder smirked, "I am Thunder, Sun. Quit lying to yourself." Sun started to silently cry as he looked at Thunders pitch black eyes, "T-Thunder wouldn't hurt m-me like t-this." Thunder looked at Sun's face then said quietly, "Then why don't you jump? No one seems to like you anyway." Sun shook his head still crying, "N-No I have Hearts to take care of!" Thunder sighed, "You poor fool. No one looks up to you besides the pathetic little excuse for a wolf Overcast!" Sun gasped slightly, "T-Thunder would have understood Overcast behavior! Besides he's got better!" Thunders ghost started to desiabler but before it was completely gone Sun heard it say, "Nothing will get Hearts back. And no one can defeat Scorch this time."
