Sometimes,a man needs to surrender to his fate.It seems that I was not man enough. The word 'surrender' was not in my vocabulary.I felt like a fish out of water,I just did not belong there.

The only thing that seperated me from freedom was one thing.Numbers.I had to find out the  exact number of security guards and all officials working for the prison at any given time of the day.I knew very well that one mistake would cost me.

There was nobody I could ask a question. Not even my cell-mate,Sammy.He had no idea about what I was working on in the last few months. Not because I was selfish.No.Maybe it was because I was a man of my own principles.I just hated going with masses.Because  the word 'masses' without the letter 'm' would leave you with 'asses' and to me,asses belong to jail.

I did not know how many security guards were out there. However,I had a thoery.Everyday a truck came to deliver food.Judging from my years of knowledge, the maximum load that type of truck could carry was '3000' pounds. If you joined the dots together, the average huma being consumed 4 pounds of food in a day.If you did the maths,I realised that there was approximately  seven hundred and fifty people in this prison.I smiled.

"What are you smiling at mate?"Sammy smiled.

"Mmmm.....nothing"I lied.

"It's funny how we are captives of our own identities, living in prisons of our own creations"I mumbled. My jaws were clenched.Something was fishy.

"And you think I am buying that!"Sammy thundered.'Please don't tell me you know about the wall' my subconcious mind pleaded.I was lost in Sammy's ocean blue eyes.

My mind raced up like a million megabyte computer.
