I fiddled with my fingers as I was preparing for the worst case scenario.
‘Yeah, hello’
“This is regarding your job interview. Congratulations you have got the job you may join by Monday’
‘Oh my god, really? Thank you’ well that was unexpected.
I called hennery instantly,
‘Hi babe, what sup?’
‘I GOT THE JOB’ I shouted joyfully.
I could hear his excitement through the phone. We were perfect for each other. We will be getting married next year and honestly I can’t wait. He did asked to move in together but I postponed it because I was unemployed, I couldn’t burdenize him, but now that I have a job we can finally move in together.
‘That’s great babe! I am so happy for you, I’ll leave early today, let’s go on a dinner date to celebrate it. I’ll pick you up at 7, kay?’
‘Perfect’ I replied smiling to myself. I scored myself a dinner date, yay.
After getting freshened up I left my bedroom and entered the kitchen where my mom was making pancakes, yum. I back hugged her which took her by surprise.
‘Hey hon, morning’ she said and I could hear her smile.
‘Guess who is the new fashion designer in ralph Lauren’ I said raising my hands in victory with a big smile.
‘OH MY GOD! JOHN JOHN COME DOWN HERE NOW’ my mom shouted at the top of her lungs while hugging me tightly, I couldn’t breathe.
‘MOM.CANT.BREATH’ but mom didn’t leave me. I was about to pass out. Everything was turning black. Suddenly my father was hugging me, placing soft kisses atop of my house. What exactly happened? I didn’t even have a chance to think because my feet were far-off the ground. And everything was upside down.
‘Hey look my baby sissy got the job’ laughed my younger brother. ‘Leave me you idiot and just for the record I am you ELDER sister’ I slapped him on the back. Finally the world was straight again.
Something crashed I looked around to see what happened. My head started bleeding everything was red I was screaming but my family was standing there with pride in their eyes. Suddenly everything went black I felt like I was being carried up. But my family was in front of me. The world waa black and i was dead it was so dark without any stars. I passed out.
