Chapter 5

Arnav: Khushi please tell me what they did to you?

Flashback- Khushi's POV

After Khushi's lunch date with Arnav:

While coming downstairs for the evening tea, Khushi slipped but NK caught her before she could fall, later that night he told her that there was talcum powder on one of the stair, it was planned so that she would fall down the stairs, most of it was cleaned of but some traces were still left because awhile earlier even he tripped on the same stair.

Similarly, two days later there were glass pieces scattered on the rug near the  washroom door. But she saw the pieces and removed the rug.

After that incident it was clear that someone was trying to kill her.

On the day of Father's day:

After coming back from school, I decided to take a bath to calm myself, but what I didn't knew was that someone has seen me leaving the school and reached home before me, when I went to the closet, someone turned the settings from luke warm water to extreme hot water and poured some kind of oil near the tub. So that due to the hot water I will jump out of the tub and slip.

They were successful in this attempt, I did fall and hurt my shoulder. When I went to the doctor to ensure that my baby is safe, thanks to DM he/she was safe but I was obviously shaken. The rest of the day I stayed in my room, but late night when I went to kitchen, I heard Sheetal talking to someone about all these incidents.

After this I was sure that she wants to harm not only me but my baby as well, after that day I started looking over my shoulder, was extra cautious where ever I went, usually stayed in the room.

I saved myself from numerous such accidents, whether it was her trying to make me fall during breakfast or basketball match. They even tried to shock me like it happened with Anjali.

Yesterday evening:

Before you came back from office, All the ladies including Sheetal were in the living room, when HP brought juice for everyone, Khushi was about to drink it when NK called her, she went to take the call after she came back and payal stopped her from drinking it because it was a mix fruit juice and contained beetroot in it, and payal knew that khushi is allergic to beets.

Later that day when Khushi went to the kitchen, she saw papaya peels in the dustbin on asking HP she came to know that Sheetal ordered him to prepare the juice for everyone. Khushi thanked her DM because she protected her baby.

Flashback ends

Khushi: I was really terrified of all these events, I was trying to tell you but it seems luck wasn't with us. I had no idea for how long I will be able to protect myself, especially after I came to know about sheetal's partner.

Arnav: Calm down khush.. Please don't cry my love, now on I'll protect you nothing will happen to you or our baby. Khushi who's working along with Sheetal.

Khushi: I wouldn't have believed that she would be working with Sheetal if I hadn't hearded the whole truth from her mouth. She tried to mix abortion pills in my juice today.

Flashback- Yesterday 11pm :

Khushi was waiting for Arnav to come home from his meeting with the foreign clients, she decided to go for a walk in the garden outside as she was feeling suffocated in the room. After 30 minutes or so she was going to her room when she saw sheetal talking to someone. After few minutes she was shocked to see Anjali come out from behind the pillar.

Sheetal: I can't wait anymore, it is getting difficult for me to keep arnav away from khushi. We have been trying for more that a week to kill her baby but haven't succeeded yet.

Anjali: It's okay, tomorrow would be last day for her and her baby. I tried to make it seem natural but now it don't care what happens to her, I want her lose her baby like I did. If I can't have my rajkumari then I won't her see her baby's face either. Because of her I lost everything, for that sl** my brother kicked my innocent husband out of the house due to stress I lost my baby. I got hold of some abortion pills and according to the internet if we mix 1 pill for 3-4 consecutive days her baby will die a slow death and she'll feel the pain but I want to mix 5 pills so that both of them die within 24 hours. I don't want her to face anymore. Her death will bring me one step closer to my goal.

Sheetal: Great, after that you have to make sure that ASR accepts me and aarav.

Anjali: I know the deal, let's go before chotte comes home

Khushi went to her room and cried herself to sleep.

Next morning, She woke up determined to protect her baby, She will not leave her food unattended and will only consume food prepared by herself, She has disclose everything to Arnav but for that she has to leave.

Before breakfast,

Khushi saw Anjali mixing something in juice, she left immediately, HP brought the same glass of juice for her. After he left she dumped the juice in a ziplock bag and hid it in her purse. She left the house saying she isn't hungry as she had the juice and is going to temple. She gave the juice for testing even though she already knew the results. After coming back when she was preparing the lunch, Shyam came in the kitchen and she left the house.

Flashback ends

Both had tears in their eyes. Arnav couldn't digest the fact that his di who is a mother figure for him could try to kill his child. The day he got to know about the existence of his child he lost his di he was totally broken, both tried to act strong for the sake of others.

What will ASR do now?

Soon they will experience of wrath of a mother.
